Howdy all,
thanks for the birthday wishes.
Just got back from a nice sunny weekend at the coast. The dog friendly hotel was great. Extra large room with 2 queen beds so pups had their own bed. They give you sheets to cover furniture so the dogs can get on it, plus hav a wooded park like setting for the girls and boys outdoor potty. No not for kids, for the dogs

A nice path right by us that goes for miles to walk and has many beach access trails to a nice sandy beach area where the pups ran and ran and ran. They are both still sleeping.
The balcony was nice ocean view and it wa smade so the dogs cant get out so you could let them explore the balcony even if you wernt out there.

Lots of friendly dogs there since it does cater to anysize dog. They even provide towels for wiping off wet sandy dogs.

We are hot today and headed to the 90's in a couple of days. Not looking forward to that. It gets too hot in the RV when it gets tha thot even with the AC on.

Hi Kathy,

I'm here, but just lurking now and then. I've had pheumonia for over a week and the antibiotics aren't helping. Sounds like they're going to start me on IV antibiotics sometime this week if I don't start improving.

We went to do some errands this morning. A MUCH cooler day--72 degrees. We are suppose to stay cool for a few days. Nice breeze blowing through.

Kathy, it seems you start the nasty weather we get out there, you can keep it there if you want Now you are saying it is going to get hot again! Criminy, will you make up your mind!

Kathy, Sounds like you had a great weekend. We have taken Alexis with us a few times but as of yet, she hasn't met up with any other dogs while she was there.

Stephanie gave me some pictures to post but I can't seem to have the computer very long--this sharing thing is for the birds!

Howdy Greg, sorry to hear your sick. Too much water activities in Aruba?
Hope they get you the right antibiotics . Pneumonia is miserable.

Hi Dawn,

lots of dogs and all were friendly accept one. He was a large dog, bigger than Pixie and he wanted to be the dominant dog. He didnt bite but he bullied other dogs by jumping on them. Both my dogs growled and nipped at him so he left them alone. The adults did nothing to control their dog.
Then Pixie and Minnie were near the water and this dog came up to Greg. Not trying to bite or anything but both our dogs came at a full run and hit him full force and knocked him head over heals and stood between him and Greg.
He didnt come back again. Considering how large he was I was amazed they hit him hard enough to flip him over.

Our dogs are very protective of Greg and I and they really proved it this time.
But all the other dogs were great. Our dogs have always got along with other dogs and love to play with other dogs too. But we watch them for any signs of agression too. Trying to be repectful of others animals too but they have never been agressive yet accept being protective.

well time to get busy.

I am still hassling with movers a real nightmare. When this is over I am going to a web site wher eyou can write complaints about moving companies and really blast them good. No need to exaggerate either, the truth is bad enough

Minnie is all snuggled ready for a nap and Pixie si the lump behind her. LOL! She wiggled around untill she was completely under her blanket.

They both had been in the cold Ocean water and wanted to warm up.

Greg i hope your starting to improve so no IV. I hate those things. But they are necessary sometimes.
After 4 months of battling I finally have my belongings safely stored, but it was a battle right up to when the truck showed up over a week late to deliver Today I am going to write such a complaint leeter ont he site for complainign about movers.
I am so grateful thats all over now!!

Today is sunny and stayed nice enough to leave the windows opened all night the last 2 nights. Tomorrow and through the weekend they say in the 90's everyday. Time to scare the neighbors by putting on the shorts now


That is unusual for here this early in the year. Time to think more about salads and fruits for dinners. Too hot to cook much.

I have a young Doe who visits the park each day now so I have to make sure she isnt out when I take out the dogs.

Today I am starting a scrap book for both of my brothers from our weeks vacation. Greg found one of my scrapbooking bags that has lots of my supplies in it, plus I bought a few things too. I hope to have them done in a couple of weeks. It depends on how much i get to work on them. I will be gone this weekend to moms place so I cant do them there becaus emy brothers will be there.
Today I will start printing off the photos i want to use and a few to take to my mom when I visit her this weekend.
