Allison_ we are hoping to walk around Key West on our own or jump on the trolley, electric car sounds cool though.

We are having passport issues now.Hope it does not take long to fix.I am in a panic.

DH is disabled so unfortunately we can't walk around. We did the trolley tour when we were in Savannah and think the trolley steps were too high up for him to manuever comfortably. He won't admit to that but vetoed the trolley idea right off. So the electric car (glorified golf cart in reality) is the way to go for us. Hopefully it will be easy. I've already requested one from an outside vendor as its around $60 cheaper and they will pick you up and drop you off at the pier. Can't beat that!!

And I read your other post about the passports. I hope that all works out for you. Best thing is that you don't truly need them for the cruise. I'll keep good thoughts for you though.

Well technically we have not been in Maui this whole time. 4 nights Oahu, 6 in Kauai and now 5 in maui. It has been a great long vacation and thankfully it hasn't flown by completely but has progressed at a nice pace but now that we are at the end, we don't want it to end.

Okay, not technically Maui but Hawaii this whole time is awesome!! Glad you're having a great time. It's one of those places on the "to do" list for us. Might be on there for awhile.

Allison- you have to do it. There is nothing like the islands that we have found anywhere in the caribbean and it's why we keep coming back. When I return I will post some pictures. I've been posting to facebook as we go but those are only the camera phone shots. Will have the good ones when I can connect my camera (I forgot the cord) to the computer.

Sorry, I won't be. I have barely enough time to get packed for the trip without adding more to my to-do list. I am currently renovating my DS former room to a sewing/craft room, have to finish tiling the 1st floor and make 2 dresses for me and a vest and cumberbund for DH's tuxedo. I know formal is not most peoples idea of fun, but I like to dress up fancy once in a while & this is my chance.

If we had kids or grandkids, maybe I would be thinking differently, but it is just 2 adults in our group.

I would be up for a meet if we can decide when & where.

It's a shame that they don't have dueling pianos anymore. In the "old days" many of the DISers would hang out there at night and get to know each other. I think most DISers do a meet now during the sailaway party, but I think that is hard for families with children who want to be down at the celebration rather than above it.

What about doing a meet on the 2nd or 3rd day? The first day on board may be a little to soon as with it being a fist time cruise for me and Im sure some others we will be just getting a feel for the ship. Anyone else got any ideas for a meet? Past cruisers would know better as to when or where , but Im all up for it.

We have been successful at doing a quick meet on the first day at 2:45 p.m. in the Promenade Lounge. For those of us who get on asap, it works great because we can get lunch, the kids can swim, etc and then we break away to meet. I have also been on one sailing where we did it at the sailaway party. Personally I like doing it on the first day because then kids who are the same age can get to know one another a bit before going to the clubs.

We are back from Hawaii. We had an incredible trip and are all both exhausted from the trip back and sad to not be in Hawaii anymore. Once I get my head together I will be downloading our photos and will post some here.

Yep I think so. We will be at the Boardwalk starting on Thursday day and then will take a limo to port - it's a bit cheaper and you can leave as early as you'd like. We like the Disney buses but I can't not be at the port early as we like to get on the ship asap so we can enjoy every second of the trip.

We were at the newly re-opened Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki. Still to come: Hyatt Kauai and Kea Lani in Maui.

Nessa is putting together the FE list. You can send her a PM with all the necessary details. I don't think she's posted in awhile but just go back a few pages and I'm sure there is one from her. She has a pesky wedding to plan too so maybe she's too busy to post. Go figure.

Your pictures are great jd99! Makes me wish I could be there right now! Just might have to think about a future trip there and check it out myself! So has anyone made their excursion plans yet? We are planning the swim with the dolphins in Cozumel., fishing at castaway cay and for Grand Cayman the black pearl skatepark and the turtle farm. Im hoping to do some alone time at the spa and am thinking about perhaps a dinner res at paolo, maybe the brunch. Just can t seem to make my mind up on this one!
