Hi everyone

My name is Raecheal, I"m posting for my aunt is up visiting me for the weekend. My Aunt Candy, her husband , 3 children, MIL, SIL BIL and her 2 nephews will on be on the magic for this cruise.

I'm going to sign her up for disboards before she leaves and hopefully she'll come around and post (she's not that great with computers). However, last night i was trying to give her some tips so that they have a magically trip.

So far,

1. She's going to decorate her door, were going to go to michaels and get some supplies today to make door magnets etc,

2. I've given her the link so she can send a special gift while on the ship to my cousins.

3. I"d like to get her set up with the fish extenders.. but i'm not sure how...??

4. is there anything else yous can possibly suggest?

Thanks so much, I can't wait to sign her up... and get her started. I know she's going to LOVE dis!!!

Will be on this cruise as well, dh myself and 2 grandkids 12 old girl and 13 year old boy, would like to join up for FE. This is our first cruise. thank goodness for this board , so much info ! We are staying at the yacht club the night before the cruise then 2 nights at the caribbean beach after the cruise.Looking forward to meeting fellow disers!

Hi, everyone! I thought it would be EXTREMELY helpful if we could start a cruisers list in the first post of the official thread, but only the person who posted that first post can edit it.

So, my question is -- shall we impose on the first post-er to create and maintain a list? Or should we endeavor to start a new official cruise thread by someone who is sailing on this cruise and won't mind keeping the first post updated with relevant information? I also think this latter option would be helpful if anyone decides to start and coordinate a Fish Extender Exchange for this cruise.

I hope I haven't hurt anyone's feelings.

Hi Raecheal, your so lovely to help set up your Aunt's account, I have been trying to do the same for some of our family that are sailing with us (my parent & FH parents), but it's not easy explaining how it all works, especially when they aren't familiar with computers in general. We hope to see your Aunt or cousins really soon

And are you sure you want to organize the fish extender part? If you do, put our cabin down! We'll join in. (now to go buy one)

Yes I’m happy to start organising the fish extender list if no one else has started and no one else minds. I might need a little help in the few weeks just before the cruise in case anyone new joins the thread.

Agreed I think it would be great to have a new cruise list as well, as I think some of the original group might have changed their plans and be sailing on different dates now.

I hope it's ok and I won't offend anyone but I will put all our details down in a new post, if it's not in the right spot just tell me and I can delete

Happy Monday all! Hows everyone doing? I just got a bit of a shock - went to see if I could reserve plane seats yet, and they changed my flight! We were scheduled to leave at like 6pm on Thanksgiving Day, and now we leave at 1:15. I mean it's nice we get to Florida at 5 instead of 11, but now no Thanksgiving with my family But on the bright side, no dishes or cleaning up for me since it's always at my house By the way, my kids are looking for other kids to email, so if anyone's interested send me a PM.

Jen - I'll check with my DD to see if she wants to email with your son. She's 9 and will probably look at me as if I have 3 heads, but I'll ask.

Things are warm in NYC today. DH picked today to bring DD in to the Museum of Natural History. At least they are inside and I'm sure they're are having a blast. They are going to meet me at work for dinner tonight. So of course the day is dragging.

Having a great time in Hawaii so far. Can't believe how much we have done in the first four days. On to Kauai tomorrow (weather willing) and then Maui to finish out our trip.

It's Tuesday and it's still humid here in the northeast. Well, I guess I shouldn't complain because we made it all the way to August 10th before the weather got blechy!! And I'm off to Massachusetts this weekend for a trip to the cousin's beach house. I just have to make it through tomorrow here at work.

Jeff, thanks for the list. I had you posted but wasnt sure of Emily's age, I had Elizabeth at 10 but will change her to 11 later this week when I add more names to the list.

I was worried you would be getting lots of bad weather. We have had weather reports about storms rolling through there. Hope you dont get dumped on.

We have not told our kids yet either - thinking now that I may just wait until a day or two before and really surprise them! We have a 5 hour flight from LAX to Orlando which is the bummer party but worth it once we board the ship. I would love to secretly pack the whole family (4 kids plus me and DH) and wake them on the 27th when we fly out with the surprise but not sure I can pull that off. I figure the first cruise will be the most magical memory - and since my younger 2 kids may not remember we will just have to do it again in 2011!! And hoping nobody has motion sickness - just don't know at this point. BTW - my older girls are ages 7 & 8 and can meet your DD in the club.
