Hi Denise,
itis crazy how dogs pick a place and are attracted to it. Usually its a bad smelling place and they seem to love the bad smell.

My girls are mad at me because I washed their blankets today and they are not dry yet and its nap time.
Minnie kept pacing from me to the washer abotu 5 or 6 times before she decided her blanket wasnt coming so she snuggled next to me and under my blanket andis now snoring like crazy.

Of course Pixie is giving me a dirty look because there is no room for her to be up here too

They just updated our forecast and they said our 70% chance of freezing rain this afternoon is now 40% but tonight it is a sure thing for the night.

So maybe Greg will make the company's Christmas dinner after all.

I had to wash Holly's blanket today also because she had an "accident" on it with her bladder infection. She was a very unhappy camper until it came out of the dryer.

My doggies were unhappy when I washed their blankets today too.
Now they have them and are happy again. I swear they are worse than kids!!


Our rain has started and some places it is freezing. we got up to 33 so for now its just rain but the temperature dropping fast so should be changing to freezing or snow soon.
College in Eugene was close an hour ago due to the weather.

that is sooo funny....they are soooo smart.

Just got back from the pharmacy just in time for Brayden to get off the school bus.

I gave Holly a dose of her medicine and sprayed some numbing spray on Nicole's throat. I fixed Brayden a snack and now everyone is asleep!

We'll see how long the peace and quiet lasts?!

They all slept for 3 hours!....which is good and bad. Good that I had 3 hours of peace and quiet, but bad because now they probably won't go to sleep tonight until after midnight.

I got a nice new set of Samsonite luggage tonight! The teenage kids in our church did an activity tonight where they started out with a toothbrush and then went to different members homes trying to trade it for something a little better.

They showed up at my house with the luggage and I gave them a Blu-ray player in trade.....I had a spare.

I'd like to know what they eventually ended up with when they finished?

Greg, you'll have to ask for sure what they finally wound up with. I bet they had lots of fun doing it.


So far we are only 32 which is good and some rain. It is freezing in some place and not in others, but by morning i think mosto f the valley will be an icy mess. Peters friend is a volunteer fireman and she said there are lots fender benders due to ice in Eugene.

Greg just left his company dinner there and said he didnt think it was too bad. He thought it had warmed up some, so hopefully he will have a good ride home. By noon tomorrow it all should bw goen and I will only have the rainto complain about

The snow has arrived and is falling as I type! The weatherman says we can expect up to 2 feet in some areas!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas!

I guess I'd better make a run into town and fill our gas cans up so I'll have fuel for the snow blower.

Well its going to be around 30 today and sunny.....I guess this is our heatwave for the week....tomorrow they are talking snow mixed with freezing rain....gotta love winter and gee its officially not even winter yet!!!!

Just have some shopping to do grocery that is....having Christmas eve and Christmas dinner here. Yes, I'm crazy.....
Eve with my ex and in laws and day with my dad.....I am looking forward to it tho.....it should prove interesting....so I am working on getting my grocerys in for both dinners.

Well I only have 7 working days left till Christmas....I'm off the 23 & 24th so I can be home here and work all day.

We are warming up a bit today, 35 so far. Some icy places but not too bad today. It will be gone this afternoon.

Well I only have 7 working days left till Christmas....I'm off the 23 & 24th so I can be home here and work all day.

I try not to think about it as "winter". Its still summer in my mind and this is just a freak weather phenomenon that last for 4-6 months.

well we now have propane!! We had one gallon left, thats a bit too close for me. At least now I can relax and know the furnace has plenty ot keep us warm and toasty.

The sun is out its 46 degrees and I have actually folded up my blanket and put it away for the day. It feels so good to sit around without blankets wrapped around me

Of course tonight will be cold again but warmer in the afternoon again.

Even the pups are out of their blankets and sleeping nicely.

Peter brought the latest Transformers movie for us to watch and it wasnt too bad. Great special effects and an actual story line this time.

Glad to hear your warmer now.

Holly is doing better now that she's on antibiotics and Nicole is ok when she's on Tylenol, but once it wears off she's back to feeling lousy.

Finished all my gift wrapping....packing up all the gifts I bought Isabella....I have to send two boxes out to Heather....full of stuff for the baby.....she will have a nice first Christmas....too bad she wont remember any of it

I still have a couple of gifts to buy, this weekend is my shopping weekend to finish it off....bought the majority of the things I needed for my 2 holiday dinners....
Weather warmed up some and most of the snow is melting... now if it just stays warm a little longer.....and by little I mean until spring!!!

Well going to sit and relax awhile....
