You found it. I am so glad.
I know it doesnt sound like much, but it really is.
When we were on carnival our room was alot smaller and you could sure tell. Although the layout of the room was much nicer for storage than DCL. But that was the only thing that was better!

Their balconies barely held the 2 of us.

Since we dont have kids it wont be a problem but for families I know they will really feel the pinch of less footage.

I just made some chocolate chunk cookies. I made a few without the chocolate chunks for the dogs, the rest Greg and Peter can eat.
I only made 15 cookies for them and 8 for the pups. They wont last long.



Hey Greg, are you still snowed in?
I'll bet he is taking a nap after working so hard getting his carpet cleaned.

Yep, its pretty sad.....Oasis's cabins are smaller too! Bigger really isn't better in this case.

Nope, the sun is out and the snow is melting.

Carpet cleaners just left and UPS just showed up to delivery the new computer I got the kids (and me) for Christmas....now I just need to hide it till Santa comes.

I've done 3 loads of laundry and 2 loads of dishes plus went for a 2 mile jog this morning.....I think I work harder on my days off then when I'm at work!

Yeah, a nap sounds good, but it probably won't happen today.

I wish I could take a nap, but I've got to much to get done today.

I'm sure I'll have to at least take the computer out of the box and make sure it works?!

It's a Dell XPS 9000 with the new Intel core i7 processor. They say it's the fastest processor on the planet......I guess we'll see how well it handles high definition video editing?

They are only 182 sq ft.

I wish I was in Vegas during the winters,but the sumer would kill me.

68 sounds great for T day.

Greg was reading all the stats about the new ship and discovered the rooms were smaller. I dont remember the square footage but it is quite a bit smaller.

Off to exercise to stay warm. BRRR!!

Trust me Kathy after how hot it was when I was in Florida, you would have not trouble with the summers here.

We had record high temps it was 90 with like a million % humidity. Way worse than the hottest day here.

Maybe if we get another sunny day tomorrow we'll be snow free again?!

I'm here Greg.

Cold again this morning. 35 right now and sunny. Should reach upper 40's today. At least there's no rain until Thanksgiving day.
Last night I called my brother to discuss my mom and he said next week he is coming down to visit me for the day. That means I will have to clean the place. LOL!

Other than Peter, he is the only one to come this far to visit me, we live so far away from everyone. It will take him 2 hours by freeway to get here. I am looking forward to his visit. It was anice surprize for me.


Dont worry Greg, if your snow melts I have more ordered to take it's place soon I wouldnt want you to feel left out or anything like that.
Personally I think all of us should go live with Christine for the winter

Then she wouldnt have room for her inlaws to come visit, so we would actually be doing her a favor.


No plans for today, just working on my trip report a bit more. Each time I think I am done i remember something else.

Well I feel like I'm in Vegas already. The sun is shinning so i looked at my thermometer and it says 124

Guess I need a new one!!

just got a call my cousin died. He just had a complete physical last week for an upcoming prostate surgery (NOT cancer) they gave him an A+ for health.
2 days later his wife came home and found him dead in his chair. He was still warm so she kept trying to wake him up.
Now she is a basket case about it. I feel so badly for her and for my Aunt , his mom. She is elderly and is holding up pretty well but soon it will all sink in, probably after the funeral. He was 62.

He is retired Marines so will have a military funeral at Willamette National cemetary in Portland. Not sure what the cause of death will be. Not sure if they will do an autopsy or not. Could have been a heart attack or anurism??
But after a great physical it takes you by surprize.

Today has been lots of bad news like that. Mom is worse too.
I feel its going to be a rough holiday season around here.

Ok, I have vented and feel better now. Thanks.

I think I will make pork fried rice and pork noodles for dinner tonight. Nice for a change. Easy too. Just have to make the rice early so its cold to start with.

I've been around. I still try to read the boards and keep up, just need to take a little more time to post I guess....

No one has had the flu yet (knock on wood) but we all have had colds, sore throats, stopped up heads....etc.

Everyone doing great. I am still running the office and that takes a lot of time. But things are getting back on track. I would say I have it about half way to where I want it to be.

I am looking forward to some time off for Thanksgiving!!!!
