We made it to Park City.

Getting ready to take the kids out to the pool.

I ordered a pizza to be delivered to our condo. I told the guy to give me their large pizza....the delivery guy showed up with a pizza that was 26 inches in diameter! He had to turn it slightly on its side to get it through our door!! I've never seen a pizza this big! ROTFL!!

Greg, I asked around on here and people have said they do trick or treating for the kids and have an adult costume party on the cruise on Halloween. They also encourage costumes to we worn to dinner.

Ok, sounds like fun! We'll plan on changing our booking to the Oct. 30 date, but we'll probably just do the 4 day portion unless we change our minds between now and then and do the b2b.

I havnt got to go back and read much accept Greg went to meet his moms new boyfriend, but I didnt see any post on how you liked or dis liked him?
Hope it works for her. My mom was widowed in her mid 50's but never dated or even talked with another man. I know she must have been lonely for someone close to her own age at times.

Well we flew in last night and spent the night in Salem before picking up the girls this morning and continuing home. I watched the first part of the Oregon Ducks game on the plane and then saw the very end in the hotel.
AWESOME GAME!!! They are really HOT this year.

We have rough seas the first 2 full days but didnt bother us. Only 13 foot waves but many were ill. We finally won at trivia and both got billed Disney caps that say WINNER on them.
The perks for platnum we very nice. I will list all we received when I do my trip report next week.
Our 5 days at WDW were extremely crowded like peak season. We didnt know it but it was Jersey week and they also had sports competitions for college level teams, so they were all there too.

I loved the new Toy Sory Mania ride. Also many of the older ones had changes in them so it was like they were new again.

Loved the FREE dining plan. we couldnt even eat all the snacks and such so I got extra Mickey rice krispy bars and used as extra FE gifts for several kids.
I did come down with a nasty head cold the last day at WDW and still have it.

I decided flying with a head cold isnt much fun At least the flight back was a Boeing 757 so we had extra leg room and some padding on the seats and TV's if you wanted. On the long leg out we had a smaller plane with rock hard seats. My back and rear hurt after the first 5 mihutes on it. Neck pillows didnt work any better than rolling up your jacket on the plane. Glad they were only $5 at wal mart.

I need to unpack and wash laundry etc.. so I will check back later.

Just wanted to say we were back safely and had a good time. Few bumps in the road this time though.

Welcome back Kathy!

Janel and Chayce went over to see the game in Eugene. They had a really fun time.
They left Eugene at 9am this morning and were going through Boise when I called at 6pm. They should be home around midnight.

I got home from SLC with the others kids a few hours ago. My mom's new boyfriend's name is Frank. He's a nice enough guy.....only got to visit with him for a few minutes though.

My younger brother the optometrist gave me an eye exam at his office and said my vision is still better then 20/20. Looks like I'm safe to keep my pilots license.

We had a blizzard in SLC yesterday....dumped about 4 inches of snow!!

I look forward to reading your trip report!

Wait until the 2 feet of snow hits you this winter, then its a blizzard.

The laundry is washing as I type.

Got the photos downloaded, I think it was 358 all together which was a few more than I thought.
I will get them onto photo bucket soon and then share with everyone.

we are up to 46 this morning. YEAH!!
Suppose to be very windy by afternoon today. Which will bring in the next rain storm this evening. I guess the coast will be 90 MPH wind gusts today which as it comes over the mountain to us will be snow and then change to rain for us and a bit less wind. 50 MPH gusts here.

Got to run if I want to get photos and laundry done I need to check all our credit cards because we found out we had identity theft on one of our cards while we were on vacation and had to cancel our card and having them re-issue us a new one. We found out when we tried to pay our ship board account with it and it was declined. Guess they had tried to call us but of course you cant reach us when we are out to sea. Now we have to do an identity fraud report when it arrives. I am glad they caught unusual use and red flagged it for us.

So far it appears to be just the one card. It will depend on how they got the info if its the only one affected. always something fun to have to take care of.

Jeff, have a great cruise, be sure and look at CC from deck 10. way off to the left of the old teen beach are the new cabanas all done and when your on the island walk by where the teen beach was, they have just installed the double slide there. Its isnt open for use yet but you can check it out. They havnt done the new cabanas at the adult beach yet.

Glad to have you back since we need your help. It doesn't seem like there is going to be a reunion cruise after all and we were wondering what we should do about this thread. We figured you would have all the answers.

Sorry to hear about your credit card. We get ours hacked every couple of years. A lot of times they don't always know your name or any other personal info. they just use their computer to run random numbers until they get one that goes through. The first charges will be for small amounts like $10 or less and then once they know it works they start charging larger amounts.

Wow! 46 degree this morning! You must be having a heat wave! We were up to 19 when the kids got on the bus.

Not much else is going on here......Saturday was a beautiful day weather wise we were in the high 60's.....went saturday nite and saw Clint Black at a concert.....he put on a really good show, however, I really didnt know alot of his music....

Kathy.....my thought on the thread.....just remove the date and keep it a nanahead reunion cruise.....who knows we may be able to add a 2012 date when we can all sail again.

Not sure what to do. DCL goofed us up when the new ship isnt doing 7 day cruises.

I was thinking 2012 would be best because we know the Fantasy will be out and doing the 7 day cruises by then. At least I hope it will be out by November.
I have no problem going a different month even in 2012.
Many nanaheads have kids in school, now in high school where its so hard for them to miss, so maybe a summer or spring break cruise might be better to get people to come along? Of course more and more states are going to year round schools where they do have different weeks off, not just summer months.
Downside is the heat and humidity is terrible in the summer.
Plus usually summer and spring breaks cost more and many are really having to watch every penny right now with the economy as bad as it is.


Best I could suggest is to send e-mails or PM's to all the nanaheads we can and ask what they would like best and go for the majority want.
I do think 2012 is going to have to be the year, not 2011 for best odds of getting the most people to come now.

Oh we saw Oasis of the Seas at St. Thomas. It is huge and towered over our ship. Too big for my tastes I think. I would probably get lost

It was the whole thing. The airfare hasn't come out yet but we figured it would be about $1000 each. The excusions are super expensive plus with the dollar being so weak we would need a lot more spending money. Just isn't the right time for us. We'll try again for my 40th.

He seems nice enough. I only got to visit with him for a couple of minutes, so I don't know that much about him yet.

I guess his wife died about 7 years ago. She was a school bus driver and somehow managed to avoid a serious accident that would of killed most of the kids on the bus, but she managed to maneuvered the bus in such a way that it killed her, but saved all the kids. The city erected a monument in her honor at the city park.

I'm not going to get to excited until my mother shows up with a ring on her finger and a wedding invitation for me.

Yeah, the excursion prices are ridiculous!! We'll be booking private tours so we can negotiate the prices.

I noticed that British Airways was having a sale for flights to several locations in Europe for around $229 each way. If we were going this December it looks like I could get airfare for around $700.....I'm hoping we can get at least that or better for next December.

zhere I am in one of Cinderella's dresses on stage in the WD theater.
Of course I am too fat to fasten it properly around me and I am fully dressed under it.

Here is Greg in a Princes outfit, same situation.

For Platnum members they had a special tour of the theater. We even got to ride the lift down to deck 2 where props and actors get on it and appear on the stage coming up from the floor. There are 3 lifts. Boy they have alot of stuff stored down there for each show. It was a great tour.
