I decided I'd go and check out the specs and photos of the DCL Dream. Looks pretty good. The aquaduck sounds fun along with some of the others things they're adding.

I was disappointed in the staterooms though. The biggest is the "Royal suite" and it only sleeps 7. Most of the other categories only sleep 3-5 maximum, so a family of 6 like mine still has to book two connecting cabins or shell out close to $20k for the Royal suite.

Thats being a shrew business. Unfortunately all businesses are out to make as much money as they can. Thats why they exists.

That aqua duck is 2 1/2 football fields long and has a 4 story drop at one point The window on the inside staterooms is pretty nice,. The picture is of the waves outside but disney characxters appear now and then and sometimes like a friendly star fish will cling to the window, smile, wave and wink at you then slide back into the ocean.

The one restaurant, Enchanted Garden? Goes from early morning lighting through the day until your sitting under the stars at night. Kinda cool.
AP has changes too but different from the current restaurant.

The pod cast playing now is a bit more info and later today Rachel will host a question and answer show from questions people post on twitter, plus more info. Castaway Club only pages still have the most info and pictures if you click on every link and slideshow.

It will be interesting eventually to find out all the changes. I am sure the Fantasy will be very similar. They will have to add alot more things to do to keep all those extra people busy now that they can carry alot more people,.

I will be curious to see if they have started work at Castaway Cay for their changes too when we are there.

Of course I now have almost nothing to do for 2 whole days,

so I will be bugging you a lot more to make up for being gone for 2 weeks




We printed off our docs for the cruise and hotel this morning so i can get all our papers packed in the carry on today. I need to unbury the safe and get out our passports too. It sits in the bottom of my closet and i have a few things on both sides of it then a wire rack on top of it with 2 shelves that have clothes folded on them. I have to remove all of that to open the safe.
10 minutes of work to get to it, 10 seconds to get what i need and 10 minutes to put it back. UGH!!!

If so what or who are they going to be?

Do you get many kids where your at?


In Florida we got 150+ each year. Here we got 0 last year, probably the same this year

I miss seeing all the little ones all dressed up. They al llook so cute

Not quite as cool today, its already 52 outside and no rain so far although it is coming later today.


Greg was suppsoe to go to his moms tonight to move lumber tomororw morning and then come home in the afternoon.
But he has so many contracts to write up he may not go tonight. He may just go tomorrow morning for the day.

He has been working all day and coming home and working all night every night all week long Some of this contracts take a few hours to write properly, then he has to get them signed. Other wise the guys wont have any work while he is gone.

Plus they cant afford to have clients go to another business because they didnt get signed contract with his company. Poor guy has been so stressed. He reslly needs this vacation.
Today he has 4 appointments with clients and potential clients so he wont have alot of time to work on the contracts. His boss didnt push him at all. He said not to do it if he didnt want to the guys would just have a few days off, unpaid of course. Greg didnt want that to happen to the men.


He will have to get his meals out if he doesnt go.

We have used up our milk, bread, all the fresh fruits and veggies too. Didnt want food to spoil or have to be thrown out. I guess i could buy a pint of milk at the gas station. There is a subway, Denny's and a local pizza place here.
No cooking for me. soup and crackers is it and oatmeal

Ok a real question for you.

My computer is working pretty good now accept one person doesnt receive my e-mails. She can e-mail me ok and Gregs e-mail gets through to her but not mine. They do NOT come back to me either.
She has been getting my mail for years and i mean almost everyday and then just one day last week they didnt arrive to her mail box.
She hasnt changed anything, no blockers. I didnt show up in spam either.

I cant figure out why all of a sudden she cant receive my letters but she gets everyone elses and everyone else i write to is getting my letters.

How come???

Any ideas??

It really a yucky day out today--but it's not cold--in the 60's.

Well, we start indoor soccer tomorrow! Some of the 8th graders are joining the JV boys to form a team! Skylar starting right out as goalee tomorrow. That sure changed the trick-or-treat plans. We should be out by 5 p.m.

Kathy, have a great, great time! I was talking about Christine today. Jaime was suppose to be down there around this time too!

I have been in touch with Jaime, I will be arriving at WDW the morning after she leaves so we will just miss each other.
With Christine its even closer but we will miss them by 1 day
I am also just missing another friend by 2 days.
I guess it just wasnt meant to be this time

Hi Kathy & Dawn,

Holy cow you've been chatty today!

Well, we woke up to snow this morning!

Not much...maybe an inch, but it was a shock to the system non the less.

I've been busy all day showing one of my tractors. I listed it on Craig's list last week and had a guy call me last night who was interested in it. He came this morning about 8am to look at it and then called me at noon and said he wanted to buy it.

Well he arrived about a few hours ago and I helped him load it on his trailer. He had asked me earlier if he could pay me with a cashiers check and I told him that would be fine, but instead he showed up with cash!!

I felt like I needed a police escort just to take it to the bank!

Anyway, glad that's done. Now I can look for a newer tractor next spring with the implements I'm needing.

I'm not sure why your e-mails would not be getting through if they're not ending up in her spam box?

Time to start fixing dinner. I'll check back later.

Craigs list works great for selling things.
We sold alot before moving to Oregon. Large items we didnt want to pay to store.
Also we put our house for rent there too. Within a week we had 3 interested people who looked at it, and one who filled out the application and is returning it today. If his references check out we will have it rented within 2 weeks of the time the ad was placed

Well I am really ready now for vacation, I just cut my toe nails so I'm all set I do need to charge our DVD players battery in case I want to use it from Atlanta to Orlando. Plus pick out 5 or 6 different movies to put in tis case. I know on the way home we will want to use it.

Greg suggested Titanic for going there and Snakes on a Plane for the way back I don't think so!!!
