Dawn, glad you had fun at Cedar Point. Staci said they use to go there a lot when she was still in MI. I have seen several of their roller coasters on the travel channel and it looks like a lot of fun. (Still with you on the Disney anyday comment...)

We have a theme park close to here called Carowinds. It's just below Charlotte on the NC/SC state line. It is fun, but no where near as clean and organized as WDW.

Howdy y'all,
we just got back from a very nice weekend. The weather wa snice but windy the hotel was very nice. I was worried about smells or being clean since it was a dog friendly place but it was extremely clean, no odors and everything set up to make it easy to stay when having dogs of any size with you.
Room was extra large so pups could play and balcony was secure so they could wonder out there alone if they wanted to.

Pictures in a couple of days, time to unpack now.

Hi All!

We had a great time at Cedar Point. It was very warm but a breeze off the lake so I think we actually had it better than back home. I will say though Greg--I'll trade you Cedar Point for Disney any day!

Denise, you said you had your house inspection. Did the buyers sell their house?

Never been to Cedar point, but have heard that it is a great park....

No she did not sell her house yet, but she had the inspection already....
which, either way, even if she dosnt get the house, all the things that needed to be done will be done and dont have to worry about anything later...

I love having her at the house! We swam, played and read lots of books. But by the time she leaves, I definitely know why 50 year olds do not have little ones

Morning everyone,

nice sunny day out here today. Going to be in the 90's by mid week.

Today I am using up leftovers for every meal. My freezer is full and i have so much leftover from our camping trip and this weekend.

Hope everyone is having a good week. I saw a few parts of the company with the heat index will reach 100 to 115 today Gosh I am glad I am not living there!!!

My favorite photo. You can see Minnie all snuggled under her blanket and Pixie is the lump behind her. She completely snuggled under her blanket and slept for a couple of hours that way.

The dogs probably thought they were in heaven......getting to sleep on the beds and furniture.....how lucky for them....jack would have liked it, however I dont think he would have been able to get up on the bed....he is getting old
