Things are kinda slow around here. Kathy's internet must still be down.

Hey folks.
We're back - actually been back since Saturday night but busy getting caught up on work and home stuff.

We had a great trip despite the crowds and the weather. We went very early in the AM a few days and got to ride everything we wanted at every park - including Toy Story Mania (twice) Space Mt. (twice) and Soarin (twice). Had some great meals - Brown Derby, Chef Mickey's, Kona, Kouzzina stand out.

We had two really nice days (in the 70s) and the kids swam those days but the rest of the week was the coldest weather we've ever had. It was barely in the 40s some nights and early mornings.

Crowds were crazy some days but only once you got to mid day.

Lizzie and I are planning a daddy-daughter weekend in a few weeks and it looks like WDW is winning the battle of "where." We'd actually love to go to Boston or NY for sightseeing but the weather is so bad in the east right now we don't want to take the chance. We did Philly 2 years ago in January and had a great time but it was so cold we didn't do as much as we wanted. So now I'm trying to figure out a way to use miles the weekend we are going on one of the flights we want to go on - and you know how that goes. The good news is that there are great deals on hotels using our Annual Passes so we are going to stay somewhere non-DVC. Maybe the Poly, maybe Wilderness Lodge, maybe AKL (where we are getting a rate of 130/night).

Lots of activity around here too - gotta get the Christmas decor taken down inside and waiting for our "light guys" to come and take down the outside stuff. Swim meet this upcoming weekend. Getting back into routines of school and work. Oh - and we're building an inground pool so we have a huge mess in our backyard since they started before the weather turned and now can't do anything until it thaws... Oh well. The excitement of life!

Howdy Jeff,

sounds like a great trip. I know the weather was been below freezing in Florida the last few nights and today in Leesburg there si a chance of slow flurries You dont see that every day in Florida

Our house is in next to Leesburg and w ehad to have someone go and turn off the AC and turn on the heat so nothing would freeze up.
Good luck with choosing where to go for daddy daughter time. This time of the year the weather is so bad in a lot of places.


Greg, yes my internet is still down. I have got the hotel again to use but it comes and goes all the time. I hope they fix their problem soon. I am going to give a call today to see if they have any news.

Gotta go before I get kicked off again.

Hi all,
well I finally got a phone number to call my server. They had a major computer thingy go down. I am so technical.Cant remember the name of it but they cant fix it and have sent off for a new one. Not sure how long it will be out. Maybe a week or two. When it comes back then I need to call and ask for an extention for that many days to be added to what I purchased already.

So for now I went back to our old server that was lousy service but is the only other one here and bought one weeks worth of service.
Hopefully we wont have problems with it too.

So you didnt get rid of me yet,

You should be getting all excited now. Just a couple of months. That should fly by!!!

just found out that yesterday Rachel had labor start and stop twice and then at 2:30 this morning her pains started up again.
As far as I know they havnt stopped again!!

I am hoping today is the day!!

Since there is no answer at her place i am hoping she is at the hospital!!

Keeping fingers crossed!!!

Yeah, we're getting excited around here about our 12 day cruise. Only 80 more days till we fly out to Miami.

We haven't been anywhere since August, so it will be nice to get away for a while.

We're still deciding on some excursions, but we know we're scuba diving in Grand Cayman and we're doing a canal and locks tour in Panama. Costa Rica we'll probably do something in the rainforest. Colombia and Haiti we're not sure yet.

Our airfare is bought and the cruise is paid for....just need to wait it out now.

Yeah, he's a growing boy!

I think he surpassed Janel in height back in July. He can already wear my shoes!

He still has a ways to go before he can fit into my clothes though.

Yep and I'm sure he would want to wear your clothes.......ummm if i remember correctly, didnt you have some biker outfit on the ship????? hot pink tank and a&&less chaps????? I dont know if you want your son running around town like that!!!!
