Morning all,

Greg I watched the parade too and enjoyed it.

Did you know the traditional dinner for New years for Oregonians is Buckeyes?

So our team should have a great feast even though they are away from home for the holiday.

Will be watching for #79.

Well, it was a great game, but in the end Ohio was just to much for Oregon. Congrats Ohio!

I'm sure Shell and Bill will be having roast duck tonight for dinner.

I was looking forward to Buckeye soup, Oh well, maybe next year?

I did enjoy watching the game though.

Guess now we can pay attention to the Super bowl

Greg left on foot with his snow shoes about 5 a.m. this morning. Not sure if he is headed your way or to some tropical island to sit out the winter
By the time he arrives the weather should be cleared up ,so start with outside items while the weather holds good.

I'll let you know when I hear from him.

Just sitting around and dreaming about the tropics. Warm and a balmy breeze that doesnt leave ice cycles on your eyebrows!!!

Got a call this morning from Janel. Their flight has landed in SLC and they're on their way home. They should be back home around noon. The kids are excited to see mom after 5 days.

Cooler here today and very foggy. I didnt watch the weather last night, why bother they are always wrong

Good morning:

So my news for the new year my washing machine bit the dust.....had to go out yesterday and buy a new one....being delivered today.....so I have to sit around the house all day and wait.....they are coming between 11 and 3.....and I have loads of laundry to do.....!!!
But before they came I had to get down the basement and clean....it was a mess, between christmas stuff and just plain other garbage down there....but I get it done in record time it looks good, they should have no problem getting the new in and the old out

Sunny out today but still on the "chilly" side....ok, its just darn right cold out...

Greg sorry to hear about the ducks..... better luck next time.

Bill and Shell congrats on Ohio state!!!

Well gotta run, I have to finish straighting the rest of the house.

Our power went out for a good portion of today.

I have a backup generator to power my house during a power outage, but unfortunately my internet service providers emergency power didn't work, so I had no internet.

Ended up being a very slow laid back day today....it was nice.
