DAY 1 11/24/2006

Having arrived in Orlando late the night before, the king drove us all here after a great Thanksgiving Dinner, we all awoke early and set off to Sea World. The King dropped us off at the gate and he went back to the hotel for the day, one he doesn't like crowds and two LSU was playing the last game of the year and the King is a huge fan.

So anywho, we arrive at SW at about 9:30 and head straight to the roller coaster, since both and wanted to ride the rides first.
Charming sacrificed and took the boys on Kraken while the Queen and I looked in some of the shops.

After that we hit quite a few of the shows and were anxiously awaiting Shamu's Believe. We arrived early got our seats and waited, and waited. Now the boys are bored with waiting and decide that they need Shamu Xmas hats.Now keep in mind they are 12. But why not, right we are on vacation.

Well after all this waiting, 45 minutes to be exact the trainer comes out and says that the whales just aren't cooperating and don't want to perform.
They basically swam around in circles and ignored the trainers.

Ok so all was not lost, we were now in close proximity to the free beer. We headed on back to the stables to let and see the horses and Charming and I headed for the beer tasting.

After a few more shows it was around 6pm and we were all getting a little tired. Since this was Charming's first visit to SW we tried to cover as much as possible, but being the day after Thanksgiving and all the crowds we may have missed a show or two.

We now have called the king and he is on the way to come and get us, we decide to grab a bite to eat and maybe swing past DTD to see the decorations. We eat at aLonestar and are able to watch the last quarter of the LSU game, which we won, so all are in a good mood. Then off to DTD.All I can say is oh my, I have never seen DTD that crowded before. We stayed about an hour and then had to leave, after all we were cruising tomorrow.

Day 2 All aboard!!!! 11/25/2006

Saturday morning started bright and early. Being the Princess I had informed the King the night before that we WOULD be leaving the hotel at 9am sharp for the drive to the port. I had every intention of being one of the first, along with Kathy from the DIS family, at the port. Now Charming and the King thought this was absurd, but as in all royal families, the Queen and I won. We awoke at the hotel early, went for the free breakfast in the lobby and then the fun started, no not the drive the packing of the van. As I told you, we drove up in the King's castle on wheels, but there were some problems with the castle and the King needed to drop it at the Lazy Days RV store to be repaired. Now he did this yesterday, but we now had to fit 6 people and 15 bags in a minivan. So as Charming and the King worked on this the Queen and I kept staring at our watches reminding them of the time. We were a teenie bit behind schedule, but we are now on the road.

We stayed right in I drive, so the drive to the port was only an hour. We hit a little rain shower going, but that didn't last long and could not dampen our good spirits. We were, OK the Queen and I and and were having a grand time yelling at the Disney busses heading back to Orlando, that their cruise was over and ours was about to begin.

So finally we see it, the port then the Magic, is there any sight better than that boat awaiting her Princess, well no there is not.
We get to the gate tell the nice people our names and drive up to let off our luggage and the first person we see is Tiara Bob (TB) from the DIS family. We all get our luggage out and Tiara Bob's wife Lisa joins us for the walk to the lobby, while TB and the King go park the cars.

As we walk to get to security, we run in to Kathy ( Mom x4 grandma x4) and her family. It was easy to see who the DIS family was, since we were all wearing matching green shirts with giant bananas on them. As we were going thru security the lady tells me , Oh more of your family just went up, they must have thought we were having a giant reunion.

After checking in and getting our paperwork, we have a mini DIS meet right there, it was so much fun.

Now it feels like we are on vacation. I finally get to meet Shell and Mutt who we have been talking to for almost a year and feel like we are great friends with, but have never met. Meeting Tonya and Trey and his banana, Cheri who along with Shell and I were known on the boards as a 3 headed monster. The fun was just beginning.

Now they call our number and we board and I don't know about you guys but I get teary when they say welcome home.
We rush to Rockin Bar D to change our dining and to add The Queen and King to our Palo reservation. Now its lunch in Parrot Cay, and more DIS family all around. After we walk around a bit we head to the stateroom ato check it out and our stateroom attendant Fernindad, knocks on our door and I open it wearing my Tiara of coarse as all good DIS girls do, and he says Welcome Princess can I get you anything. Well I love a man who recognizes a Princess when he sees her, so the rest of our week was quite enjoyable with Ferdinandad.
Now its time for our DIS meet, we meet in the Promenade Lounge and it feels like there are a sea of green, we are all talking and then I see him, Dreamboat Wally. Ladies there are no words.We do our present exchange and I got a jar of syrup and some coffee from Athene, who started our whole thread.

Day 1 Continues

After the DIS meet, we head back to the cabin for the all fashionable lifeboat drill, and as hard as it is to imagine, this Princess looks stunning in orange as a matter of fact, I LOVE ORANGE .
After our drill, it was a quick dash to yet another meet, this time with a smaller group,the fairy godmothers, who had a little adventure planned.
We had planned on going to the sailaway party but mother nature had another idea. and went anyway but Charming and I found the atrium too crowded.
Now its time for the dinner, we had originally planned to have late dining with other DISers, but once the King and Queen joined our group, we changed to early as this is the time the Royal Couple prefers to eat. We ate at Lumiere's the first night and I must say in all our cruises this is our 5th DCL, Sameer and Melvin were by far the greatest waitstaff ever. They anticipated every move and need we had, and were quite funny.
After dinner we went to the Welcome aboard show, tehn basically lost the boys for the evening. Thier only concern was what time do we have to be back in the room, Mom? At least we saw them at dinner each night.
We originally planned to meet up with some other DISers to go out, but one of them who shall remain nameless( woofwoof) wasn't feeling so great so we palnned on meeting them the next day.
We were all(Charming) pretty tired so off to slumber it was as day 1 ends.
