Good morning Banana Heads

I've decided that this is a "ME" weekend ... I think I'll go to the gym and sit in the sauna and the spa for a little bit, work out, and who knows ... maybe SHOP! But I still need to get our receipts in order for my tax guy to work his magic. Ugh, how I despise that stuff! Last year was the first time I hired someone instead of doing it myself and it was quite a relief to not have to deal with all of it. And the house needs cleaned ... *sigh* ... like Scarlett O'Hara said, I can't think about that now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about it tomorrow.

Guido got a bath yesterday ... it was finally warm enough for him to go for a walk but it was so muddy out that he came home with muddy paws and a black belly ... so Daddy threw him in the tub when they got back. Now he just needs a nail trim, so off to PetSmart in a few.

OK, I've done my posting. So where is everyone else??? HMMMM?????

Hi Shell,
we started paying someone to do our taxes several years ago, it was a great relief!!! I still have all the receipts to save and file, but it is so much easier this way. I got our stuff to our tax guy 2 weeks ago,so we should be done any day now.
I always sweat it out, that we may have to pay. It has happened a few times in the past, since the kids are grown we dont have as many exemptions now.
Last couple of years we even managed a few bucks refund, but I am happy to just break even!!!

I watch a LOT of Sesame Street... The "new" character Zoe is a bit whiny for my tastes. I think my favorites for this minute are the Honkers.

I miss the Muppet Show. We have one DVD, but you can only watch it so many times.

Oh, and Kathy, the weather here is mild but overcast and dreary. Good napping weather. I had Fiona take her nap on me while I watched "Heroes" on mute. Thank goodness for closed captioning.

Hey, Tyler and I just saw Super Grover a couple weeks ago at Sesame Street Live! Poor Grover lost his "superness" and all the other characters helped him find it again. Great show! And we still have our helium Elmo head balloon floating in the living room as a reminder.

Joshua took his SAT's today-he said: "they were harder than I thought they would be..I don't think I will get a 4 digit score" ....He is a smart kid, I'm sure he will........ Go Joshua .

Mine changed. I turned it on just now because I thought I'd have to just change it myself but saw that it already changed. My cell phone changed too. I didn't think either one would. Nice surprise in my grumpy morning!
