I cant eat them either, but when Greg gets home i will ask him to eat a few extra just for you. I'm sure he will do it, even though it is a big sacrafice to have to eat more of his favorite cookie!!

Today's such a dead work day I'm doing laundry waiting on people to actually need me.

Oh, and dishes. Can't forget the dishes. *looking down at the ruined manicure*

So I went ahead and cancelled my first reservation, and now I can't get the second travel agent to call me and take my money. So I have until tomorrow to pay my deposit, but with all this time on my hands, I can't help but worry.

Ok, well, back to "work."

Just got back from the Poconos; -4 degrees this morning-schools were 2 hours late-can't imagine how you guys that live in this cold can stand it. I'm back in my nice warm town:14 degrees-whew its a heat wave

Josh is still snotty and all that-walked around with a tissue box moaning all weekend. The plus side of the weekend with my mom was-she didn't fall! .

Well, best go for now...you all try to keep as warm as you possibly can!

Well, spent another day with the boys not in school. I actually enjoy having them home--no problem here. The air temp was 15 below last night and 30 to 40 below wind chill. The temp only reached 7 today and the wind chills 10 to 20 below. Some of the schools are already closing tomorrow also. Got another 3 inches of snow.

Haven't left the house (except to shovel) since Friday. Sigh. Not much going on around here. Where's the global warming? The U.S. is certainly having a winter season this year!

Kathy, your cookies sound yummy! Do you put Hershey kisses in the middle? That's how my family loves them best!

Holly, how's the weather in Lansing? By the map, it looks like your just skirting the worst of it?

Sometimes I use chocolate chips in them, but today was just plain peanut butter cookies. I have to feel generous to use the chocolate chips because i use sugar free chips which are very expensive. So I am cheap with them!!

Oatmeal cookies are great with choc chips too!!!

Hi!

I thought I would introduce myself to the group. I am cruising with my family and friends this week and am really looking forward to it. There's me, DH, DS who will be six years old at cruising time, my neighbor and her DH. My sister and her family (five of them total) are also cruising this week. She's already a member of these boards and I'm sure she will join the discussion at some point. We have all four of the connecting secret porthole rooms so is anyone in the other two?

This is my first cruise and I am so excited!! We live in northeast Ohio and these frigid temperatures have me wishing I was on board the ship right now. I even had a dream about it last night so I took that as a sign to get over her and meet some people. I've read some of the messages but doubt that I'll be able to read through all of them or that I'll be able to keep up on a daily basis. I'll do my best though.

I'm looking forward to the cruise and to making some new friends!

Hey all, seems like I've been missing a lot. I've very sick My temperature was almost 98.7 degrees!

Hi Dawn,

All the snow is missing us, but we have the same temps you have. Really sucks. Furnace won't shut off. Pipes froze overnight. Most faucets were working, all except cold in bathtub and cold in kitchen sink. Cold in bathtub started flowing again tonight. Must be the heat wave we have (2 degrees right now) that got it flowing. Now I only have the kitchen sink cold water that I'm waiting on. Plumber is coming in the morning. Hate to pay a couple hundred bucks to have them thaw pipes for only 1 sink. Sure hope that's not what it costs! Maybe I'll get lucky and it will magically start working like the bathtub one did.

Well warm sunny Florida seems to have disappeared again today. It was 38 when I got up today. I know many of you are laughing saying That's NOT cold. because your down to 8 or 10 degrees. But for us that is cold!!!
