Hello All,

Just booked our flights. We only had enough ff miles for 5 tickets. Dh was kind enough to book me and the kids together using the ff miles. He booked himself a non-stop ticket!! So it looks like I'm flying alone with the kids and dealing with a lovely stop-over in Chicago. Lucky me!

Anyways, on to the next task. Where is a good place to stay the night before the cruise?

Becca, I would highly recommend the Residence Inn at Cape Canaveral (really Cocoa Beach). It is only about 1-2 miles from the port, and a half mile from some of the car rental places. New property, great breakfast, extraordinary staff!

I would have to agree with Bob, here. (I'm expecting to be struck by lightning any moment now! )

We're staying at the Hyatt at the airport, but since you have a larger crew, I'd go to the Res. Inn.

A very nice ending to an awesome cruise for the 11/06 cruise!!!

we stayed at the Radisson and all was awesome there accept the bed was a slab!!! I did just read that they have put all new sleep number beds there and suppose to be done by 1/15/07. So that problem should be solved by then. it is an older hotel, but it was very clean, beautiful courtyard, large pool with waterfall, good restaurant, and almost right next door to the Residence Inn. So very close to the port too.

There is a mini golf, go cart place that is walking distance too, plus they have a shuttle to take you to the port if you want to use it.

your right I was giggling, but you gotta understand, this is the first time I have had a team I was rooting for win!! I have lost every superbowl since I can remember. So I have to enjoy every minute of it!!!!
By the way, when you decide who your rooting for at the Super Bowl, let me know, then I will know to bet on the other team so I will be assured to win again!!!

Well, it's like this Pat. We think it could be a Western (Denise said she saw something about it). But if it's not a western, then we may switch to another week because there are quite a few of us that want a Western. Check out my post on page 2 or 3 with my e-mail to DCL and their response.

On the other hand, only TWO places to post now!

Wendy: Business has been pretty good so far this year so maybe we can upgrade from steerage. At the very least, we'll only need to shovel every other day. They provide the shovel along with the room, so you won't need to pack it (unless you have a special shovel that you prefer to use.).

Well Shell, you did a great job on the final post.... it was very touhing. It was a great trip.....one that I believe all of us will always remember with very fond memories......Ok enough of the mussy stuff......

Now onto the next couple of cruises......Wally and I are still talking about this one...I know that we should book soon so I dont have pay and arm and a leg for it....but I would most likely have to give up Hawaii w/daughter...so this is a tough one.

I really don't follow much football, but I did watch part of the game last night. I did not exprct them to loose by that much!!

Well today I worked on laundry and went grocery shopping. Not a very exciting day. I am still trying to get this house organized from Christmas. It seems like it takes me forever to get things back in order. I need to go through the kids toys next. Have a good night all.
