Well w ejust got back from spending a couiple of hours with Linda at Epcot. It was alot of fun. We visited a few minutes, then we went all the way around the worlds. We stopped in Japan and went into the gift shop. Very strange foods in there.
Then as you exit there is another room that use to be a baseball exhibit, but now it is OLD metal toys. it was a great exhibit to go and look at. Nice and air conditioned too. It was in the low 80's outside!!

Then when we go to Canada we stopped and watched the last of the performance of Off Kilter. For those of you have never been there, they are a rock n roll band from Canada and they feature a bag pipe in all the rock n roll songs as well as the usual instruments.
I waited patiently for a gust of wind to see of they were true Scotsmen, but no luck Then the lead singer twirled and i discovered there were NOT true Scotsmen because he had maroon colored shorts on!!

We decided even though they were good, they were NO Tiara Bob and the Dreamboats!!!!

It was a very good visit and then Linda was off to China to meet a friend at 3:30 for a late lunch. I did deliver all the hugs I was asked to give and told her Hi from Drew and others.

All and all it was a good day. I really enjoyed our visit since we didnt have much of a chance to talk a lot on the ship. I only have one picture on my camera, the rest Linda has, but I will post it next. Remember it was a HOT, WINDY day when you see our hair!!

Linda will be off cruising on the Wonder in just a few days!!!



Oh well, we decided to go and finish going around the worlds. we did stop for a few pictures. Dimples was our mascot and she was all in red , white and blue. Very partiotic!!!

Here is my new toy!! Got it yesterday. It is an 07 Yamaha Grizzly 350, two stroke, fully automatic ATV. Look out world!!! Old lady driver on the loose!!

Greg got an 05 Yamaha Kodiak 4 wheel drive 450. He figured he needed more power so he can pull me out when I get stuck!! Like that would ever happen to me?? Even though his is an 05 it is new. They used it a little bit at the dealership for people to see how to drive them, only had 20 hours on it, but got a great discount and full warranty. No picture of his yet, he wont get it until next week.

Gradie4-my name is Okie my DH is Rick (aka J&C's dad-he seems to wait till we are about a week from leaving on the cruise before he takes part in the board); my DS Josh 16 (aka joelidol) and DD Chelsea 15.

Man after seeing all the pictures of everyone in the green shirts-I am so mad at myself for not being more assertive and meeting everyone-count us in for any shirts or get togethers this year

Oh Kathy, this here is a GATOR family! Didn't you see our door sign! Stephen went to UF, his granddaddy is a UF pharmacy grad, and our daughter is going to get her masters from there!

I am sooo jealous of your trip to EPCOT. I love the world and EPCOT is our favorite.
Our favorite place to eat is at Japan in the Teppanyaki Dining Room! They have the best way of preparing their lobster, steak, chicken, rice and vegetables! Oh, you've never had ice cream like theirs either.

Our next trip down is March 31 through April 7th. Will finally be there during the Flower & Garden Festival--so glad they changed the dates this year. We are going to stay in Fort Wilderness this time. The boys don't remember the camping we did there.

Cheri - you freaked me out that you got your air tix already and I raced off to check on costs for me. Cost is out of this world right now on preferred carrier USAirways..so I think i have to wait for Southwest to release those dates!

We're going on Midwest Express this time. UAL (O'Hare) had pretty good rates, but American was over $300 HIGHER/ticket for the same dates!! I guess it just depends on who's having fare wars at what time.

Our TA actually only gave me the best O'Hare & Milwaukee rates, so I didn't do any comparisons with other airlines.

I just like having everything done and in place ahead of time! Don't know if the rates will go up or down as the year progresses (I'll try not to check!!).

Good Morning All:

Long weekend at our house. Catching up on sleep.

Bill I will PM you the information on the t-shirt place. Speaking of t-shirts, I asked Hunter the other day if he wanted matching t-shirts for the July cruise. I expected the normal 'tween answer "Gosh no mom their stupid", but instead received the answer of "yah that would be really cool". So now Mom has to come up with a design. Any ideas? I was thinking of the nana wearing a parrot head (jimmy buffett throw back) or something stupid like that. Either that or the nana in a hammock (joke for the adults). Who knows. I have plenty of time to figure it out.

Glad that everyone is doing great. Kathy would have loved to been there with you and Linda. When we get closer I will tell you the dates we will be there.

Yep, Shell you were really covert on the July board. Thanks for all that posted. Maybe I will get treated like the Queen I am, should I wear my Tiara again?
