Please forgive my late welcome ... it's about 9 degrees here today (a HUGE increase from 7 a.m. when it was -1) and pretty much everything is frozen, including my brain! Anyhoo, you couldn't have picked a better group to travel with or post with. We're a little quiet right now, but give it a few months and we won't shut up . Right Kathy?

We have lots of kids with us so far, and I'm sure we'll get lots more. Cheri (pgfour) has a daughter who will be 6-1/2 in November ... she's my Bestest Friend in the Whole World!

Anyway Patty, Okie has 2 teens in her family who will probably like to meet your teen. Josh does post under the name of joelidol. He is a nice young man. I only met his sister once and she seemed very nice.

it sounds like your really freezing there. We are actuallty cold for here, high around 55 lows in the 40's. I know that sounds warm to you guys, but for Florida it is cold!!


we went to see the movie Night at the museum. It was a cute show. Nothing spectacualr, but worth seeing.

Look forward to meeting you and your family. I'm from Michigan and I travel with my two grandsons (both will be 11 on the trip).

I haven't been on the boards much this weekend because I've had to share the computer ! It has been "oh my gosh" cold here. This morning the temperature was -5 degrees with a wind chill of -25 degrees and snow, snow, snow. We had blizzard warnings all day yesterday and I haven't even looked today but it looks the same outside as it did yesterday. Working on a school project with Christian. He is to make a timeline for himself showing trips, birthdays, special moments, etc. I think that I'm having more fun bringing out the picture books and such than he is!

Hope everyone else is OK and good day to stay in and watch the game. Dawn

Morning everyone,
Denise, sorry the bears were hibernating last night
I was rooting for the Colts, but it didnt really matter to me who won, I wanted the Seahawks who got cut a while back.

well it is cool and clear today.
I have a few errands to do today, but pretty much a quiet day planned. I think I will make some peanut butter cookies. Turning the oven on helps to keep the house warm.

Lets keep us off page 2 today. Everyone did a great job yesterday.

I miss peanuts... Hubby and kiddo are deathly allergic to them. *sigh* So no peanuts in the house. Hubby's allergic to milk and peanuts (among other things) and kiddo is thankfully only allergic to peanuts and shellfish.

Did you make the cross-hatches on the top of your cookies?

Eat a few more for me, please. I'll take the calories if you tell me how they taste.
