Yes for some reason most people wore darker colored gowns. My DD wore white one and her teenage daughter wore pale pink, but they were the only ones I saw.
Little girls wore princess dresses a lot on formal night too. They looked so cute!!
Have a good afternoon,

Kathy

good night to all, I am off to bed early tonight.

Yeh, what did you find out about the puppy you went to see???? :confused3
Hope you found one ok, :thumbsup2

Kathy

I should have pictures of three puppies tomorrow and I will choose from them. They were all born last week so I won't be able to get them until I get back from Hawaii  I wish I didn't have to wait but they won't be old enough. I will post the pictures when I get them (if I can figure it out).

I think I am going to get a formal dress. I love to dress up and I haven't dressed really formal since my prom (oh so long ago). I am getting my husband a Tux so we should get some really good pictures. Trying to figure out what to wear is the hardest part of the cruise. Especially when you are flying and limited to how much luggage you could bring. I am a very conservative packer and usually don't over pack but that's because I make up a spreadsheet for each day, yes I love to pack :teeth:

Kathy I don't think I am going to request Triton's on formal night because I want the latest seating and I don't want the two to cancel each other out. We had the latest seating on our last cruise and it worked out great because we could watch the shows in comfy clothes and still had enough time to go back to the room to change. The only night having that seating was a problem was pirate night and we ate of Palo's. I will just leave dinner early to get a good spot for pirate night this time because I think we are going to go to Palo's on Thursday night (but things can change). What dinner seating does everyone else have?

good morning,

well we have early dining which is what we always get. DH is diabetic and cant wait that late to eat. But we eat early at home too, so we are use to it and like it.
we always have time to change after dinner before the show with no problem.

Cant wait to see the puppies!! :goodvibes
For me the easiest way to post pictures is to go to www.photobucket.com and put them there. After that it is pretty easy to post them here. It is a free service and easy to use, but you must have the pictures downloaded onto our computer first, then put on photobucket.
If it is too confusing, let me know and I will try to write out how to do it for you.

well gotta go, :moped:
I will check back later today,

Kathy

Hi everyone!

Hope your Tuesday is going well. I'm on a quick lunch break, so I thought I'd check in.

Christine - Will you be able to "visit" with your new puppy before they come home with you? One of our breeders allowed us to visit the litter periodically. We were only allowed to pick the sex ahead of time. Once the day came where the puppies could go home, the breeder had us pick the puppies in order of the day we had put a deposit down. Thank goodness we got the one we had our eye on. He's been a great dog for the last 10 years. I can't wait to see the one you pick! :bounce:

I'm not going to be able to get my dh or fil to dress up in a tux, so I'll have to make sure that my gown isn't "too" fancy for his suit. We have early seating. With the kids, we normally eat around 6 p.m, plus my inlaws would get too tired for the late seating. Does it matter what restaurant you in on formal night? I'm guessing most people are dressed up?

Well, guess I should get back to work. Talk with you later :tinker:

Hi Kay,
It makes no difference what dining room you are in on formal night, all the restaurants have the same suggest dress, Formal. :goodvibes

I am anxious to see the puppy too. :woohoo:

gotta run,
Kathy

Love the puppies!!!

How can you ;pick just one???
I would want them all!!!

How long until you can take one home??

Kathy

Oh my goodness...they are too cute! I can't believe how tiny they are. You must be so excited now that you see the pictures :)

Do you have any ideas for the name?

Kathy - thank you so much for starting this thread and answering all my questions. You are a jewel!

We have decided to get the second one. The first one is going to be bigger than I want. I won't be able to see her until I get back from Hawaii. :guilty: The Breeder doesn't live that close. I should have all the final detail tomorrow.

Since I have named our last two dogs I let my husband name her. OK are you ready...he wants to name her Kelly Clarkson  yes that's right after the american idol winner. I am hoping he will change his mind but if he doesn't we will just call her KC.

Good morning to all,
Kay, glad I could help some. There are only a few things I havnt experienced on board, Spa, Palos, wine and cheese tasting. Most everything else I have experienced. I am always happy to share what I know. ;)

Nice sunny day again today. :sunny: I am slowly feeling better. Need to get rid of the headaches. :sad2:
Minnie is also doing better, her infection looks great, she still has 3 or 4 ,more days of medicne to take. She is finally getting up and playing and getting into mischief like she should be doing!!! :yay:

I will check back later today and see if anything is happening here. :wave2:

Kathy

Hi,
I dont know if any of you shop at www.disneyshopping.com
But right now they have a lot of things up to 60% off!! :thumbsup2

There is a cool twin size bedspread from pirates of the caribbean. wish I needed it!! If it came in a kingsize I think I would get it and surprise my DH. But it only comes in a twin. :sad2:

Anyway if you want something Disney for a Christmas present, now is the time to look.

well I am off to check my no bake cookies to see if they set up ok.

Kathy

No bake Cookies? How does that work?

Thanks for letting us know about the sale. I am going to check it out. My niece is a princess (ask her and she will tell that she is :rotfl2: )so of course I need to get her some princess clothes for Christmas.

Sorry can't chat longer, busy day at work.

Hi,
no bake cookies are great in hot weather because oven is not turned on!!!

Basically you make a thick liquid from milk, butter, unsweetened cocoa, sugar and vanilla. you just bring it to a boil for a few seconds and then pour it over oatmeal and peanut butter. :stir: stir and drop on wax paper. Once they cool they are ready to eat. Very yummy!!! Of course you can add nuts or coconut if you want. I use a sugar substitute because DH cant have sugar, but it still works. They are one of my kids favorite holiday cookies.

we are a little cooler tonight, only mid 80's and a good breeze too.
Minnie and DH are on a walk. She just whimpers and jumps all over the place each night until DH asks her if she wants to go for a walk. :woohoo:

Hope everyone had a good day today. I will check back before bed to see if anyone has posted something new.

Kathy

Just popped in to give us a "bump" before I head off to bed.

It's been a busy day, hopefully I'll have time to check in with everyone tomorrow.
