Shell & BIll, You're going to have a tough few days and our thoughts will be with you. We had to let our 'Lion' go after 18 years and it was like ripping our hearts out. But take courage, Guido will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. (www.rainbowbridge.org)

Your trip is coming SO CLOSE! I won't be around to see you off - we're leaving for Indiana on Friday - but I hope you have as fabulous a time as we had last year! Can't WAIT for next year

Hi All ... first, we thank you for your kind wishes and pixie dust.

I'm sure there's been a few e-mails and PMs going around, but just to let you know, this morning I spoke with our vet and we are going to have to let Guido go this weekend. He has been having many troubles, and last week he had 5 seizures, including at least one Grand Maul this past Saturday. Today I made the appointment and burial arrangements, and he will be buried in the same cemetary with our Sammy, who we lost 2 years ago.

It's so weird ... his is the longest relationship I've ever had ... 16.5 years. He was born during the first Bush administration, lived thru Clinton and the second Bush administration! My gosh ... I was 25 when we met, had a mullet and no gray hair !

Sooooooooooooo .... all in all, we're doing OK really. We know it's time to quit being selfish and let him go. It will be a very tough Saturday for us.

Thanks again for all your thoughts.

one more thing we repeat cruisers may like to do,
how about helping out all our new cruisers with a tip about the cruise.
something most new people may not know about, that could make their cruise a better one.


Tip#1. you can bring a set of pillowcases or a matte style frame to be autographed. put it and some waterproof markers in a ziplock baggie and drop off at the guest services desk the first day and ask for it to be autographed.
The last night of the crusie it will be returned to your room all signed, for free.
I always stick a card in the baggie too with my name and room number incase thetag they put on gets lost. anda nice thankyou card for those doing the signing.


Tip#2 Keep your camera with you at all times, even at meals. Disney Magic is everywhere, you wont be the only one taking pictures at dinner, I promise.


Tip#3 Read your navigator and mark the events you want to do and take it with you or you will forget what you wanted to do and miss the event.


Tip#4 If you see Mutt and his camera, run the other way he is sneaky with it.

You can take anything to be autographed baseball for the boys I also took a white disney shirt one time and they signed the back. It came out very very nice. (I put a piece of cardboard between the shirt.)
The kids wore it off the ship everyone asked about it!!!!

I also take cardboard to put my pictures between (the ones I buy on board)
so they dont get bent on the way home. You pay enough for them.
They are worth it.

Just be ready to have lots of fun I know we have put alot on here but it is a very good time. and the best vacation your family will ever have.

Tips for newbies - 1-bring highlighter to highlight what you want to do on the navigator
2-bring clear plastic shoe bag that hangs on the door for your toiletres in the bathroom - get mine at the $1store and just throw if away
3-pack childs clothes in baggies labeled by day - so easy to pick out what he was wearing each day since it was already planned
