I will be gone for a lot of the day today so you guys gotta post extra to make up for it ok??

I am shopping some this morning, going to see American Gnngster at 12:30 which is 2 hours 40 minutes long then drive back home, so wont be back until around 4.

I still have an hour before we start out so if Bill would get out of bed and post his question,:rolleyes1 maybe I could get it answered before we take off this morning.

Mornin everyone...:surfweb: I had to get up nice and early (not like Judy/Jaime early) but early to post the QOD. I figured everyones overloading on Disney which isn't a bad thing but other diversions can be cool too. Here goes....

1. Is there a period or event in history that you'd like to witness or be a part of? I always wanted to be around during the industrial revolution--right around the turn of the century--Titanics era, the rise of the automobile, flight, telephone, etc...

2. Pick a person in history that you'd like to have dinner with....
I really had to think about this (some of the names that came up were Ben Franklin, Norman Rockwell, Neil Armstrong) but it came down to Da Vinci.
I'd probably swipe the napkin he was doodling on during dinner for a souvenir.

Hopefully this will be fun for some of you..... (dont worry, you can think about Disney and the cruise directly after the questions).

Judy will be grading your essay question answers this evening... I'm goin for a C+, just like Ralphie.....

Well it's about time you got up and posting:love: Just kidding.
That is a doozy of a question.

1. I am not a history buff, but I think it would be great to have been there to witness the signing of the Declaration of Independence. To have listened to all these men trying to decide on just what should be in it and then to sign it. Thatw ould of been very interesting.

2. Thomas Jefferson would of been a great person to eat with for his time in history. He brought so many new foods to our country, so you may of been the first person to eat a waffle or something he had just brought back with him from his travels. Foods that nobody in our country had ever heard of before.

Hi Nana Nation............

So, I had so many posts to catch up on; I actually had to take notes:sad2:

Before that though; I wanted to share with you how funny my mom is........So, I had be up pretty early this am for the garage sale (made $380 between last weekend and this one-that's alot of drinks BABY!!!) and my mom knew this. She pulls up and I said, "What are you doing here so early?"

She's grinning from ear to ear and I'm like what? She said "guess what", I'm like:confused3 "IN TWO WEEKS, WE'LL BE CRUISING"...........

I just stared at her. Then I busted out laughing!!!! I mean really? Two Weeks? If we only had two weeks left:

-I'd be at my goal weight
-I'd stop ordering things on line that probably won't make it in time
-I'd be at least half way packed, not clueless about WHAT to pack
-I'd be so nervous about meeting everyone, I'd have broken out in hives
-I'd have a hair appointment made
-I'd have started my pack of Crest strips
-I'd have a tan by now

That mother of mine-I tell ya' what........what a kidder:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
