Kim-
Tonight I was showing Alex the pictures of everybody from the cruise and he informed me that your DH is a fireman.

Didn't know if you knew or not....:rotfl2:

I said his name is Joe and he said "yes, he's fireman Joe.":confused3

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good Night Shell :wave2:
Good Night Mina :wave2:
Good Night Mel :wave2:
Good Night John Boy :wave2:

Anxious - yes! We had that last night. Tonight was much better. So much excitement! Thanksgiving, cruise, Christmas, Santa, Emily's birthday.... Too much for a little one sometimes - but once on the ship - it will be worthwhile. They love it! Can't wait.

Goodnight all!

One last post for me tonight so I can end on a nice, round number.

I'll leave you with this:

What animal goes on a honeymoon and 13 days later gives birth?

This should be right up Okie's alley in terms of seemingly useless trivia!!!!:rotfl:

Night all!:cloud9:

Hi Cheri! :wave2:
Hi Mel :wave2:

We're definitely gonna need Chris, his keen eye, steady hand and gift for composition...but we need at least one with him in the pic.

Cheri...you're a real trouble maker tonight...you go, girl....(oh my that sounded so uh...happy, gleeful, no,...thats not the word...hmmm)

Last but not least...HEY HAMMER....yer sort of a glass half empty kinda guy, aintcha? How do you know that Cheri wont hit big in one of the casinos and buy the ship for us to go whenever we want to? (for your 17 days comment I hope she assigns you to her old cabin....nyah---buy a row.)

Heres to hairy legs....

Hi Everyone,
Sorry i didn't contribute to the post count today - had a busy day but got to cross lots of things off my "must do before the cruise list . . . "
one haircut
two parent/teacher conferences
two sets of project/homework to complete while away from teachers
two flu shots
two Webkinz due to the traumas of the flu shots
ordered husband's tux (FINALLY - I hope the rest of you men don't procrastinate like mine does!)
got dh's sneakers
secretly ordered more clothes from Coldwater Creek (Huge sale - great deals!)

not to mention cleaned up all the counters, refiled all paperwork in the kitchen, organized all bills to be paid, decided new excursion in St. Thomas, made deposit for work, paid work related bills for December (rent, cell phones, etc.) and went to lunch with my daughters at school.

Wow - that sounds like more than I realized I did today!

I think I need a glass of wine and a great show to watch to relax my mind!

oh wait - I am doing that!!

And will be again in 9 more days - and 8 days, and 7 days . . .

HI Wendyleigh:wave2: Boy you had a busy day. No tux for my dh, he'll wear his suit and then just dress pants and shirts. He wants to go shopping:cheer2: I think I'll pick up some new things too. What is your new excursion for st thomas? what good show was on tonight, I never find anything on wed nite.

Any info on the storytime with Mrs Claus? it was listed on last years navigators.

We'll be wearing our shirts to the port & meet.

Men's Wearhouse is where he went - he doesn't like suits so the tux is just easier for us . . .

Show for tonight - Private Practice !

St. Thomas - Coki Beach and Coral World - not sure what we know about it but looks really great (we have two 5 year old little girls)
Has anyone else been there???

;)

Bill and Shell - I hope you are doing okay . . . we lost our Teza a few years ago and it was beyond painful and sad and difficult. A week prior, a good friend of ours was killed in a racing accident and it seemed that nothing worse could happen. It was such a painful time for us . . . so we found something wonderful to concentrate on, not to take our minds off of anything or replace our precious Teza - but decided that we had to focus on us.

the next day, we drove to Asheville (about 2 hours from here in the mountains) to meet with a friend from grad school who was an adoptions social worker. And we began the process to get our Maiya. . .

Love your precious puppy and each other through these days and remember how much you are cared for, now and especially next week

With care and prayers,
Wendyleigh

To lighten the mood...:goodvibes and just to give everybody a good laugh... at my expense...

I forgot to mention what happened last weekend while we were shooting the wedding. I went out to the truck to get something for Chris. It was parked on the street. Well I was standing at an angle and I went to open the door and was kind of looking around and surveying the land at the same time...and... well.... I hit myself in the face with the corner of the door.

So... I'm now sitting here sporting a real minor black eye...:lmao:

Fortunately for me it hit where it did and not a little higher because it hit right below my eye.

It actually looks worse today several days later than it has the whole time. Not sure if that's usually the case with black eyes because I haven't had one before. And I hadn't even been drinking...:rotfl:

Good night everybody!

Good Morning Kathy! Just getting Kierra ready for school...I'll check back a little later...

Hey! everyone, thought I'd post since I have been at the sidelines most of the time. :happytv: It's so much fun and exciting preparing for the cruise, reading the excitement in nearly word, poking fun at one another and building friendships that will last a lifetime. :dance3: The anticipation of detail, the dreaming and fanticising about every cherished moment we will spend on board. It pains me at times to envision that 17 days from now we will have ended another terriffic cruise. :sad2:

You guys see what I have to put up with around here.;)
All of us countdown to when we sail, Greg counts down until we are off the ship again:sad2:
Thatis just wrong!
I say we make him walk the plank:lmao:
