Okie, were we separated at birth????? I adore the Wizard of Oz! A few years ago, it played on big screens...the greens in Emerald City were unreal.

Wow Robin...I would have loved to see that...I am actually going to do a little research on the movie right now-Chelsea-DD wants to know if any of the actors are still alive....I believe the main actors are all gone....but what about some of the munchkins....??

1. Is there a period or event in history that you'd like to witness or be a part of? I always wanted to be around during the industrial revolution--right around the turn of the century--Titanics era, the rise of the automobile, flight, telephone, etc...

One time period I've always been interested in was the mid-late 1800s during pioneer times as in Little House on the Prairie or James Michener's Centennial.

2. Pick a person in history that you'd like to have dinner with....
I really had to think about this (some of the names that came up were Ben Franklin, Norman Rockwell, Neil Armstrong) but it came down to Da Vinci.
I'd probably swipe the napkin he was doodling on during dinner for a souvenir.

I'm still thinking, but in my absence, Bill's answer to this is Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig. (Add his answer to #1: He'd also like to be around in the 20's to see how the players train and travel from game to game, etc.)
