06ers ... I just got an e-mail from our beloved Lauri and she says:

Exciting news: Patrick is in the new Debbie Allen Musical "Alex in Wonderland" --- It is playing at the UCLA Freud Playhouse, but will also be broadcast on PBS. I don't have the date yet.

And we can all say we knew him when!!!!!

BTW-A little clarification on the banana and monkey gifts you got in the stockings................they're yours now and you can do with them whatever you want. Clip 'em to your Full Frontal Nanaty, spank yourself and say "I'm pretty"..........I mean I don't care, BUT they were designed to be wine charms.

Hi Everybody! We're back safe and sound! Rolled in (literally) about 2:30 a.m. last night! Ran into WIND, snow, sleet and rain. Could hardly hold the van on the road in Northern Indiana and crossed into Michigan and she welcomed me home with a winter storm. Took me twice as long!

What a Great Time!!! Thank you everybody for letting me join your bunch. The NanaHeads rock! We had more fun coming back to the room to see what we had in the fish extender or on the door! Magnets, photo frame, coffee cup, snow globe, candy, pirate stuff, bottled water!!, and Christmas cards! Thanks again.

Hey, the dates for 2009 are out and the cruise after thanksgiving is a Western again. But the prices look higher...

The 09 prices may seem much higher because you aren't including the discount that you got onboard for rebooking and they probably include both insurance and transportation unless you deselected it.

I have a question for the experts here. If I booked a 4 night cruise onboard and decide not to do that one...but want to move that date to the 09 bananahead sailing...can I do that and retain the discount and onboard credit? Or can i only move a 4-night to a 4-night?

They should do it for you without any problems, and you will retain your credits and discount.

DCL told me I can change the reservation anyway I wanted too. I don't think they would give you a hard time about spending more $$$$

Thanks. I'm actually thinking of booking the Aug. 15 eastern with Tortola instead of St. Maarten (not instead of 09 bananahead but maybe in addition to). I've always wanted to go to the BVIs and it's fallen through a couple of times. The price on this particular sailing is very competitive with the Nov. date that we usually take - in fact I think it's less expensive by a few hundred dollars and the kids aren't yet back in school. Why not join us?

Jeff-That cruise sounds nice, but we will probably not be going in 09. I have always wanted to do a southern Carribbean Cruise. It is getting harder for us to pull the kids out of school as they get older. We will most likely have to start crusing in the summer or during their breaks. We usually cruise every other year.
