Sarah lurks over my shoulder, but is BUSY constantly with school and two hours of practice every day. She volunteered all day yesterday at a cheer clinic and is now off to buy Lacrosse equipment with her dad. She's playing in a LaX shootout near Raleigh next weekend, so she's running sprints and getting in playing shape.

I'll tell her you asked...hey did you know that a female is going to command the shuttle mission and a female is leading the space station right now??? Just think, Sarah will be up there in a few decades!

Afternoon, everyone....

Wendy....great lookin kid you have there. You guys really really lucked out this week with LSU....nailbiter for sure. Lets hope we have a little luck in Cleveland today. (I hope Manny Ramirez gets a boil on his tookus).

I finally went out and bought memory for our new camera. I'm technologically challenged (as well as hydro-orally challenged--YES, that means I drool a lot, be nice). Anyways...I cant believe the advances...a card thats smaller than a dime gives me an hour of video capacity or an over 10,000 image capacity. Just amazing to me.
That should solve our storage woes...

ok, time to go enjoy the weather. I may just stroll down to the forest and see if I can find Timmy. Thats the coyote that hangs in an area of the woods I frequent (it was between Timmy and Bruce....Timmy had a little more zip to it and I know a Bruce on the boards and it wouldn't have been appropriate).

Josh...I'll be checking out the launch. Two women heading the mission....oye....lets see if they can find UP (Hi ladies of the board!:wave2:)
If you're smart, Josh....you'll steer way way clear of that comment--let ol mutt take the heat for it.

bbl---that comment alone should get us to 11,000.

Wow, I've had a busy day. I've been out since noon.

I did go to the chiropractor and man is my back messed up. I have scoliosis and it's never bothered me until now. I also found out that might be why I haven't been able to get pregnant for the past 5 years. I go back on Monday for all the results. I told him I refused to be a person with back problems...I am still going to wear high heels and go on roller coasters:banana:.

Did some shopping too. I had a 20% off coupon for Pottery Barn. Didn't get much because I was looking for Christmas stuff. Hopfully I will get another coupon before Christmas.

Not much planned for tomorrow so I will be able to check in.

TTFN :stitch:

Christine,
I hope that you're able to get some answers to you back problems. :goodvibes DH has problems with his too... he was doing pretty good until he helped moved a piano a couple months ago and has having problems every since. :sad2:

Maybe now that you know that you can get an answer to the baby problem too. I've dealt with that problem too... that's why I'm such an old mommy so I know where you're coming from there!

I was going to respond... but I almost got lost on my way to the keyboard...

Hello? ... hello ... hello ... hello

Is there anyone out there ... there ... there ... there

Lindsey? Nicole? Brit? J-Fed? Angelina? Mary Kate? Ashley? Buehler? Anyone?

Good one, Mel! Take that, Mutt!:rolleyes1

We just returned from Olive Garden...mmm. Love me some Gelato!

So, I couldn't take it another minute and pulled out some sleeveless tops, bathing suits, and light sweaters for the cruise.   I have two drawers full. And, WHERE are my khaki shorts! The kid swears that my jeans and favorite shorts aren't in her room, but I bet they are.

Judy called from a gigantor outlet mall. I told her to get home before I got back on HSN!

Well, at least if they can't, they'll ask for directions instead of just flying around in circles for hours.

(Who wants him? No ... really ... )

I am here
But of course you didnt ask if I was here:sad1:

Josh, they may remove it again, just depends. About 6 months ago they told me my signature was too long. I could keep everything on it but had to make it goes more horizontal, so I would shorten up the vertical length of my list of cruises. I had to rework it a few times but finally got it short enough for them.

So if you can shorten what you have to not go so far down the page you can probably add more to it. eliminate spaces between lines and such. Hope that makes sense.
They do have specific guidelines we are all suppose to follow but most never did, now they are enforcing it.

We just got back from seeing Michael Clayton It was pretty good. Confusing at first but then it all came together. We had a thunderstorm while we were in the theater and boy it was loud!! Even over the loudness of the movie.

well off to see about dinner,
Shell ,
I will be back, not that you cared if I was here or not:rolleyes1

Oh ... the guilt!!! The guilt!!! I said "Anyone else" ... plus I knew you were around because I saw you posted on the 08!!!

Kathy, it is WONDERFUL to see you here!!!!

Shell, when I saw you had posted the food link, I was afraid that you had gone to the dieting dark side. My, my, I sure recognized those dishes!

Very exciting! I could eat a gigantic steak right now!

Kathy, Sarah wants to know how well you can see the shuttle launches. Do you see the shuttle or just the fireball?

Ok, I guess you have suffered enough,
you are forgiven:goodvibes i have been back and forth tonight, I am going to be long distance with my DD but will check back when I am done.
She just informed me that my grandaughter has earned enough credits she will graduate THIS year!! She is only a junior.
Gosh I feel OLD:scared:

Robin,
on a good clear day I can see the shuttle itself and then the red glow beneath, but not clear enough to distinguish the brown fuel tank fromt he white shuttle. It looks like a pointy grey object with fire coming out.
If it is cloudy or night I can only see the red glow.

Kathy

Seriously? You've NEVER been? Tell me again..........are you going to be there a few days before the cruise?

Seriously...I've never been to WDW...I've only been to Disneyland and to Disneyland Paris. Devin has been there once before when he was 10, but this is the first time for both Lily and me. We have one full day to spend there - we get into Orlando on Thursday at 2pm, so our current plan is to spend Thursday evening at Downtown Disney and all day Friday at WDW. I'm so excited!!

Okay, this is what happens when I am twinless...I have fallen into Home Shopping Network and I CAN'T GET UP!

So far...(it's all Joy Mangano's fault) Cobalt Blue luggage "You'll never even have to unpack!" and two set of Huggable Hangers. Here's the justification: Sarah goes to camp and away to college in a few years. We go on Dis trips, Myrtle Beach weekends, and home to visit family. :dance3:

THEN, you need the thin huggable hangers to maximize space. Also, my continuing closet project has shown me the importance of hangers that hold clothes in place. How's that sound??? Just another chance to use the old Disney VISA.:confused3

Ashley, come home! (With the Lassie TV music playing in the background.)

I just saw those huggable hangers on HSN and I almost bought them myself..I was mesmorized for several minutes before changing the channel. I think they would be so great in garment bags!!

I totally understand...you don't have to explain. Everything that we are used to in WDW isn't at DL those amazing touches that Disney wasn't able to put in DL he planned for WDW. ie. MK is a whole story taller and the castle can't even compare in height so walking into DL is definitely not as awe inspiring as you turn the corner to see MK's castle!

If you haven't been to WDW, you are missing the MAGIC! Remember though, unless you stop to smell the roses and let the ambience envelope you, you aren't getting it either!

I feel the complete opposite way, I feel DL has so much more magic. I think it's because every time I'm there I just think that Walt Disney himself walked down Main Street and lived there while it was being built. The Magic Kingdom in WDW just feels like a great big theme park. If you guys ever go back to DL let me know, I can tell you where to find all the little secrets that make the park so special. I'll be there in 5 days. I'll take lots of pictures. Josh I still have room for one more:banana:
