Tomorrow is going to be a fabulous day. No cleaning out the garage, or attic; DH is playing a golf tournament and DS is going to a SCA workshop from 8:30-4:00:woohoo:

Somebody lock the liquor cabinet:lmao:

My phone had better ring sometime tomorrow ...

Hi Everyone
It has been fun to read your posts. We ARE doing the Fish Extenders and if you want treats from us you better do it too!!!:cool1:

I don't know how to do all those fancy things at the bottom of the posts. After your names. Can anyone help me??

I couldn't get brunch, tea or the excursions we wanted. So, we will just hang around the boat.

Gotta get the laundry done :laundy:

I'll call you shell...
And once again...where is Bill?????? Now that he's a running stud, he doesn't like hanging out with us anymore?

I threatened to post his cell number last night. :rolleyes1

Ah.. yeah... ok Josh...

Help? Someone?:confused3

Hello. Today we (I and my friends) do school. I am good because today is Friday! Sonria if you he likes Friday!

(Dat's what the free translator says it says :lmao: )

OK now who wants to translate THAT??:rotfl2:

Is all of this because I threatened to make Mutt Stew?

I mean... he really doesn't have to worry. Like I'm going to actually cook!:rotfl2:

Hi everyone! I've sat down twice to post and it took me so long to read all of them I didn't have time! Well, I'm home now.

Hmmm...fish extenders. I will have to look into that.

Oh my gosh, Ron, they definitely would be paying for that!

Absolutely supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Josh! Great SAT scores! You rock!

:bday: Jen! Hope you had a great day!

Christine, I've probably missed you leaving for Disneyland. Can't wait to see pictures when you get back!

It's 70 degrees here today and blue sunny skies.

Will check back in later. Dawn

I'm here, Jeff...and don't let my bragging fool you, I'm still a lil butterball, just better off than I was before.

Josh, great news on your tests. You're gonna be a big hit as a college student--mutts know these things. They used to have ten cent draft nights during my first 2 1/2 years of being a freshman....not sure why they raised the prices. Let me NOT be a good example to you but a horrible reminder of what CAN happen if you don't study and do too much horsing around. Gee, I'm scarier than any halloween ghost....

ok...shower, shave and wait for Auntie Woo to go to dinner.... enjoy.

Mutt stew might not be so bad...... I made pasta fagiole last night, it got good reviews....I should have added mutt to it....

Can ya'll (yes that is a word!) tell me what you think about excursions with or without booking with DCL? Looks like lots of them are already booked. I would love to spend some time on a beautiful beach and maybe my guys could snorkle. Not sure we would be interested in tours. We like to relax!:beach: and enjoy the ride! Ok, maybe I better rephrase that..all of us but our 15 ds. He will have the boat totally explored in the first 15 mins of arrival! He is our go go adventure boy!

I think more excursions will open up when you get on the ship. BUT... that said. I have booked non-cruise line excursions in the past. Both time was on Grand Cayman, so I don't know about St. Maarten or St. Thomas. But I do think others here have booked some of these.

A good place to go look is on the main board here and on cruise critic .com under "ports" where they have boards specific to St. Maarten and St. Thomas.

Stop... it's that time of night and I'm getting hungry.

By the way DH took a professional pic of our Mutt last night. Alex was his assitant and ate the dog treats (goldfish crackers...) He's not really a mutt...pure lab...but... DH is planning on putting it up at the local Vet along with having a pet photo contest. I'll post it this weekend if I get a chance.

One excursion we are taking is the Pinel island snorkeling excursion. On the island I am going to relax on the beach and DH is going to snorkel.
That may be what you have described above?? I think it is a half day excursion which leaves time to shop the other part of the day.

Personally I am very cautious about excursions that arnt through DCL because if they run late, which does happend sometimes, they wont wait for you.
If you book through DCL and you run late they will wait for you.

Now if you had a morning trip with a private company so your suppose to be back 3 hours before you had to I might risk it, but many are due back within an hour of departure time which makes me nervous.

That said I have heard lots of great things about many of the private excursions.

I was just doing a little exploring around the cruise info and I found:

Holly Tyler on the Panama Canal post and they've posted 33,000 times! Oh my gosh!

I also went to DCL and the only options left for our cruise was cat 5 and 9 and they were not giving specific cabin numbers. Think that means we are getting close to be sold out? Last week, they had all of the catergories.
