I've been taking notes about this kinda stuff ever since I was 10 (no lie at all!) I'm a good person...

True enough!! His dad has been giving him the same advice as his dad gave him: "Son just remember-you are ALWAYS going to be wrong-just go out on the front porch and sit in a chair-don't bother arguing-you will never win" (I paraphrased-but y'all get the drift ). Not yet, but I did read The Kite Runner and it had to be one of the best books I've ever read. Waiting for Thousand Splendid Suns to come out in paperback.

What are they?

Brantley, here's what I found ...

The purpose of the fish extender is to hold all the goodies that your fellow DIS cruisers may deliver to your stateroom. It is all voluntary of course. If you are making one here are the measurements. The overall hanging length is 32'' . The finished fabric length is approx. 26" . It is 8" wide. The dowel is a 1/2" dowel 10'' long. There is a rod pocket at the top for the dowel to slide through. The hanging cord is aprox. 13'' long and there are holes drilled through the dowel for the cord to be threaded and knotted. Use a wire tie or something else to tie the Fish extender to the fish in order to keep it attached. You can search the DCL Threads to find pictures of other’s Disers fish extenders.​

Hey Gradie42. I noticed from the Cruise list that we are right up the road from you!!! This will be our first Disney Cruise. Congrats on the anniversary!!

Where are you from in NC? We live in Mooresville - this is our third Disney Cruise and 6th cruise overall - we love cruising and trust me, after taking a Disney cruise, you will never be the same - it is amazing!

I love Survivor this season - it is pretty interesting in general - but after James in the shower - wow!

About Grey's - I am a HUGE grey's fan - ask me anything about GA and i will try to either know the answer or find it quickly!!

Dr. Sloan - aka Mark Sloan - Derek's best friend from NY - grew up together, medical school and practiced together in NY. And then Mark slept with Addison - Derek's ex-wife (who is now starring in Private Practice). He and Addison spent two months living together after Derek came to Seattle to regroup. During which time Derek fell in love with Meredith (the idiot who will not go to therapy and resolve her crazy issues and be with the most beautiful man on the planet). So, Addison came to Seattle to get Derek back and Mark followed her to get her back.

To make a long story short (or to combine two seasons into a small paragraph), Derek is still in love with Meredith (who still has not called to set up an appointment with a therapist), Addison realized it was a lost cause and divorced Derek - and didn't get back together with Mark because he is a "man-*****" and left to practice in LA (aka Private Practice, Wednesdays on ABC at 9 p.m.).

Mark is also known as "McSteamy" since he is, in a word, HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!![/SIZE]

hi everybody, thought I drop a note before going to the dentist. Robin and i were all hot about fish extenders for a while but decided against it. If you really want one there is a lady who makes them on some thread I can look for it, and there are several posts on the main cruise thread, just search it.
ALso they are available on ebay sometimes.... have a great day and I'll ctch up later today.

Oh my gosh! I just had a car come flying around the corner and into my yard! He was going fast enough I thought he was going to go into the house! Well, thank goodness, he only messed up the yard. AND CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS! This young man STOPPED and apologized and said he'd bring a rake and fix the yard! There is still responsible young men around...Josh I haven't met you officially but you seem like you'd be on that list too!

Wednesday I had to work (at the office) and my laptop did some update thing and it wiped out my internet connection (Shell threatens me with bodily harm any time I mention my computer woes. ) It was also Bill's birthday (celebrating his 40th --- again! ).

Yesterday, my darling DH got the computer thing taken care of, but I was so busy, I just didn't take the time to check in. Then Jess wasn't feeling well. . .

Anyhoo -- I'm finally getting caught up!!

Welcome to the new families!!!

I'm Cheri and my DH Bill & DD Jessalyn (6 1/2) are going on our third DCL cruise, and the second with the Nana group!

So far Jessalyn is staying home from school today -- she has a slight fever with a bit of a cough. She's obviously not feeling too bad, because she just came down and asked for a list of things to do today! I told her to start in the kitchen, then move to the bathrooms, before cleaning the bedrooms. If time permits, she can clean the basement!
