Hi:hippie:
It's a beautiful day here in Iowa. Temp hit 80. Sun is shining. Tomorrow is not supposed to be so nice, so we took the boys to the park this afternoon. Jackson kept trying to eat rocks. Good times!

Congratulations on 10,000 posts everyone! I'd like to think I contributed.:rotfl2:

Well.. since I'm not like Christine and Shell... I guess my best attribute is probably my eyes. Chris & I both have them... so our boys are blessed with them too. Alex in particular has very long beautiful eyelashes which people always comment on. When he was a baby it looked like someone had taped butterfly wings to his eyes!

Well, I have work to do!
Have a great day!

I went over to RObins so we could post together and her computer is down... I missed all the 10,000 excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for this exercise B#LL, here is my shipboard exercise routine.
1. Power walk to breakfast at Topsiders... rest those muscles.
2. Stretch and walk to the Rainforest.... heat on those sore leg muscles
3. Work on upper arms by lifting a margarita every few minutes...
4. Stretch out the back while on the poolside lounge chair.
5. Work out all those tired overworked muscles in the adult hot tub.
so there... that's my plans for exercise.... Anyone want to join in????:rotfl:

Now this is MY kind of exercise!

What is the deal with cell phones on board? I read somewhere that the Disney ships now had it arranged for some cell phone usage on board through certian carriers. Do you guys know how it works. We have AT&T (use to be Cingular). I went to make sure we had the international roaming activated and the person said we should not use them on board. She said that it goes through the tower on board and it would be $10.00 per min. I was going to activate them so if any of our family needed to get in touch with us they could just call our cell. What are you guys doing?

We have never had a cell phone work on board so we just make sure family has the ships phone number and our room number in case if an emergency.
Also we sometimes get an internet package and keep in touch each day on line.

Well it's been a nice lazy kind of day here today.
We went to the farmers market for some fresh stuff this morning.

Greg mowed the grass and then bathed the dogs.

I roasted a turkey breast for dinner.

Greg tired to take Pixie for a walk but she was too scared to go past the end of the driveway. I think she is still traumatized from wednesday evening. So we will wait a little while before trying that again.

Greg is taking Minnie for her evening walk while I check the boards.

Tomarrow we may go to a movie but that is about all we have planned.

I did watch the Magic pull out on the web cam:woohoo: :woohoo:

5 more weeks:banana:

Hi Everyone! Busy, busy day.

Went to Skylar's last soccer game this morning. From there went to the free movie "Evan Almighty". That is a GREAT movie. I think I'll have to add that one to my collection.

We stopped at Target and we found a Wii. They are virtually impossible to get around here unless you camp by the store and are there first thing. That's really what happened to us. Stopped in just to pass a little time before the movie and went to check out Guitar Hero for the PS2 and behold there were alot of them. The clerk said that they had just got them in this morning!

Got Christian to crawl up on the roof and retar around the chimney and vents.

A very pretty day today. Blue sky, high 60s...autumnish.

Let's see...best attribute. Not really an attribute but I guess if I get compliments it's for my tan (I tan very easily) and I look alot younger than my age.

Travel ritual is to get up real early (usually about 2 am) to get out on the road.
We snack on red licorce when we travel.
I make alot of video tapes for the boys to watch. And alot of the time we get a audio book from the library to listen to.
We usually always stay in Valdosta GA overnight.

Brantley, Your question regarding the cell phone. We are not going to use ours. The ship does have a phone number which I am going to leave with family for an emergency.

Will check back in a little later. Hope everyone had a great Saturday! Dawn

We do the same as everyone else - we just leave the ship # and I check in from time to time with email. Sometimes we buy a 10 minute onboard phone card if we feel we really need to check with our families while onboard, but I like that our cell phones in particular don't work onboard...finally, absolute quiet.

Travel rituals...I'll be packed well in advance with my lists. BTW...a good tip: Pack your list so you won't miss anything while packing on the ship.

I will lay out Ken's best shorts, polos, etc. Then he will repack. :confused3

I like to put suitcases in the car the night before...DH hates to. I'm ALWAYS too excited to sleep!!! We try to leave before 6:00 AM, and because I'm so excited, we often leave by 5:00.

I like to make lists and clean out my purse/wallet in the car...nine-ten hours. We always stop for gas and get Three Muskateer bars. I then read mindless women's magazines.

Ken and I used to live in North Florida, so we get excited when we see Sonny's Barbque signs! We'll have lunch somewhere around Orange Park (near Jax) because it reminds me of our dating days. Not necessarily at Sonny's, but the scenery...

Judy is loving the mountains...she said the view is phenomenal. Of course, she's at a wine festival, so go figure. I miss my twin.

I volunteered at Sarah school yard sale and cheerleader clinic until I went to a chorus concert.

We are being lazy tonight...TTFN.

We were able to use use ours when in port in St. Maarten and St. Thomas just using regular international roaming (no $10 per minute charge). THings have changed since the ship now advertises cell service available...but I don't know what it means.

Goodnight, Sleep tight...I'm exhausted, think I'll read for a while. Another friend coming over tomorrow should be home all day.

BTW, I always tear up when the Disneyworld commercial comes on TV, and always when boarding & disembarking any cruise ship...happy to board, sad to leave. I've never been to WDW, so I'm sure I'll get all teary when I get that first glimpse. AND all the photos of the ship everyone's been posting have been making me tear up too...what a crybaby I am!

Hey Jen...I'm a crybaby too...those pictures are amazing I am so excited!!!! WDW is amazing...just something so special about it...magical...I was so excited about going to DL but have to say I was disappointed...DL felt more like a theme park to us...we still really enjoyed ourselves but it didn't give us the same feel as WDW...hard to explain...

OMG, Lily just ran into the kitchen and slipped and fell on the tile floor...narrowly missing hitting her head on the floor...then she jumped up and kept talking, not missing a beat. Meanwhile, scared the heck out of me. Whew.

Glad she's okay! Hope you are too!!!

Good evening Nanas............well, now the garage and the attic are cleaned out. I really wanted to toss it all, but the neighborhood is having a yard sale on Nov. 3 and I figured every $6 worth of stuff I sell is another drink:woohoo:

Really, how did I manage to collect that much crep? Tomorrow we'll move on to the cabinets and closets. THEN, I can start packing for the trip:banana:

I've never been to WDW
Seriously? You've NEVER been? Tell me again..........are you going to be there a few days before the cruise?

Hi Jaime:flower3:

Vacation rituals..............I'll go with Disney trips:
Take the early SW flight which puts us in around 11:30, p/u rental car and head to the Outlet Center. Go the Disney Outlet, buy pins and other souvenirs at a fraction of the cost

Our favorite part is when we drive through the main entrance of WDW........."Here it comes, get ready; PIXIE DUST....................." so much fun.

Love Twizzlers and Funyuns for road trips....oh and Pizza Flavored Combos
Buy the newest rag mags.......gotta keep up with what the press is saying about the 'ol Britster:lmao:

Buy a bottle of water upon arriving at the airport, only to throw it away five minutes later because I can't seem to remember I'm not allowed to take it:sad2:

Totally exhausted and in an immense amount of paint...........so, going to self medicate and go night night. Love ya guys:love:

Hi Kim:wave2:

We don't arrive until 11:30pm this trip so I won't have time to go buy pins at the outlet before the cruise...:sad2:

How long are you at WDW before? Are you going after too?

Hey guys, hope everyone is having a good weekend. We just got back from a family reunion. Lots of covered dishes, ate way too much. So, to top that off, we went to Wal-Mart and got the Transformers and lots of candy. So I guess we will spend the rest of the night watching movies and eating candy and popcorn.

Thanks for the info on the cell phone. How do I get the ship number? I guess I will leave that in case anyone needs to contact us.

I was just reading on http://www.stthomasskyride.com/ and on the day we are in St. Thomas there is a * by the Magic...I noticed that the ships that have the * usually go to Charlotte Amalie harbor...is this the dock or the tender? Just wondering if we will still be within walking distance of the shops and tram for there?
