hi everyone,
we are having a terrible thunderstorm right now . Poor minnie, she is laying down looking out the window at the rain and whimpering. this is her walk time and she knows it. She lives for her walks each day. Guess she will just have to settle for tug o war tonight.

I am off to do the dishes, just in case I don't get back on line I will say good night all!!!

Oh i decided on chilie cheese hamburger helper and fruit for dinner. i was lazy.

Where is everybody? I'm at Elizabeth's swim team practice and thought I'd have lots of entertainment here but no one has posted since I got here!

Kathy - haven't cooked the fish yet. Will get the grill going when I get home.

I'm personally looking forward to a nice evening of relaxation, good dinner and good wine.

I think I mentioned that we have been painting our house - or more appropriately our version of Eldon (reference?) is painting it. Every morning he is in our house before we are all ready for school/work, etc. I have to move my car out of the garage, and then since I work from home, I'm basically living with him all day.

Really appreciate the weekend time without Eldon and just found out he is not coming back next week to fit in another job (we were thankful for that even though it delays the finish of our project). The house is looking fantastic as it's the first time we have had any color since building the house in 1999-2000. But I am torn since I want it done but also need a break from him.

Not much else is going on. Just enjoying our extended summer! Let it continue until March or April as far as I'm concerned. Global warming, bring it on!

I tried a new dish tonight. Chicken breast, dry italian dressing, block of cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, 1 - 1/2 cups of milk and let it cook. Mashed potatoes and corn along side. Makes alot of it's own gravy for the potatoes. It was delicious.

Well, I've made another vacation plan for WDW during August. Hot and rainy, I know, but with school that's the only time we are going to be able to go. It's either go then or don't go at all...and that isn't an option.

Soccer first thing tomorrow morning then I think we will go see the movie "Our We Done Yet?" One of our theatres holds free fall matinees every Saturday and Sunday 10 and 11 a.m.

Will it be probably tomorrow afternoon before I check in. Everyone enjoy your weekend.

Hmm...the first chapter would have to include our favorite family story, "The Wedding That Wasn't." It details the day my pregnant cousin's fiancee shot himself in the leg to keep from getting married. Yep, I said I was from Tennessee, now, didn't I???

Do you need to brown the chicken breast first, or just throw everything in a pot and cook on the stove top??? How long? 30 min??

OMG!!! I had a mullet in my HS graduation picture! And I found a pic from a few years later where I had a permed mullet!

OMG! If you guys had mullets, Judy and I could have taught you! My first year teaching high school was in 1980...yep...older than dirt!

I feel lazy today so it wont be fancy at all. Soup and sandwiches comes to mind or fish sticks?

I baked a turkey breast, made mashed potatoes, broccoli with rice, and some really good homemade gravy. Oh, and sweet potatoes baked with marshmallows on top. I just ate all the marshmallows. So, sue me!

While I'm thinking about our cruise, all you DDad's need to get your little Cinderella's to pose on the stairs while you let her "try on" her princess shoe. We did one with Ken and Sarah years ago and I almost cried. DMom's, get your cameras ready!

Evening all- since we are talking about food, I started tonight's dinner with a turkey breast and ended up making a Thanksgiving spread.... yum! So we'll be having left over turkey this week!
Rachel started to explore topics for Science fair, I of course tried to tie in Mickey but so far, she's not buying!
Robin and I are planning this trip AND our spring break trip in April, I am a DVC owner and plan to visit Animal Kingdom Villa with Robin's family. WE are like the rest of you, it is either Spring Break or summer, I fear this will be our last pull out during school since high school is involved and Kayla will be a senior next year.
I moved furniture around in my bedroom tonight to make a table area to start my precruise packing..... can I say I WANNA PACK AND GO!!!!!

I'm doing my part posting...but this will be the last one for tonight. Thought I'd mention that Judy is a natural born travel agent. So, when the Nana Agency starts up, make sure that she is onboard! I'm a good planner, but Judy is the woman!

I'm just known throughout my school as the crazy Disney trip planner. When parents tread through water to ask if they can take their kids out for Dis trips, I light up and say, "OMG, where are you staying? Do you have tickets? Have you made meal ressies? Anyway, you know the rest...don't get me started!

It is scary that Robin and I are posting at the same time from different parts of the same city and had the same meal for dinner. Did I say we also don't need to finish our sentences to each other????
