Okay-since we're discussing him so much, I thought it only fair to our little friend to post the following:

The Dancing Banana (a.k.a. Banana Man) is a popular emoticon. By late 2001, the banana was already being used on several forums as a standard emoticon. Most of these forums would replace the typed text "" with the graphical image. As the popularity of the banana grew, hundreds of variations of the image had been created for forums or other purposes. These new images typically would have to be either uploaded or linked to, instead of replacing text. There is also a dancing pickle, carrot, apple, onion, broccoli and dancing pepper

This little guy has made appearances on The Family Guy, Ed and American Idol to name just a few.....

Okay- questions from Day 2 of our magical cruise.........

1. I've already asked about the tix for the Tastings. I understand that you got to Guest Services the morning of. No one has said HOW early?

2. Do you guys dress for the show or do you change before dinner?

3. Do you get the Fitness Class schedule delivered to your room, or do you go pick one up? I mean really, are they going to make WALK all the way to the Fitness Club just to get a schedule? Geez........

4. Has anyone gone to the shopping presentation? Is it worth it or not?

I can answer #2. we go to dinner then change to be comfortable before the show, but you will see many are dressed for dinner and others are in jeans like me. so either way you will be ok.

#4 I did this once and didnt care for it. i wanted to do something else that was happening at the same time, but after the presentation they will repeat it over and over again all evening on your TV, so no need to attend unles you want to try for the free gift they give away. evenif you have a question the shopping guide has a desk where she is a lot and will answer your questions for you.
Myself I would watch it on TV at my convenience and not worry about the actual presentation.

#1 and #3 I cant help with,

Kathy

Noticed a few differences so far on the new navigators. For example: the drinks of the day have been changed a bid (important to know IMO) and in the section Fun for the Whole Family they list the time of the event. I think this is a nice feature. Not sure if they do it for the Adult section..............

I'm not even going to try for numbers anymore....I'm going for the QOI factor...thats the "quality of irritation" for everyone.

Kim, I love you. I SWEAR to you I will not let them serve alcohol without you! I'll lay down my life so you can have a martini! :rotfl2: (I think Guest Services opens at 8 or 9, if I remember correctly. But it really was no big deal getting the tickets).

2. Do you guys dress for the show or do you change before dinner?
Before the show. There's maybe 30 minutes in between the show and dinner, so most people dress beforehand so as not to have to rush.

3. Do you get the Fitness Class schedule delivered to your room, or do you go pick one up? I mean really, are they going to make WALK all the way to the Fitness Club just to get a schedule? Geez........

Well now that you bring it up, it is a pain in the butt to walk ... :rolleyes1 . Wish I could help you with this one ... I only have good intentions of working out on the ship ... no experience!

4. Has anyone gone to the shopping presentation? Is it worth it or not?
I'm pretty adept at shopping, so I haven't participated. However, I'm thinking that something like that would have been great in high school as an elective.

Kim ... don't you owe me something? I keep checking my e-mail but haven't seen what you promised me ...

Just trying to my priorities straight:lmao: I plan on having my days look something like this:

Wake Up-Have coffee with Mutt (must contain a shot of Bailey's)
Breakfast-With family: Order a mimosa
Deck 9 with my GFs: As promised: B-Day toast to Cheri (her choice)
Lunch (if I can remember to eat at this point...............) something light and refreshing like, um.........Malibu on the rocks:lmao:
For no reason what so ever.........Malibu with whatever the @#%! they have
Dinner-Wine (riesling when available)
After Dinner: Well, there's just no telling.............Tequila shots for Mutt because we're hitting the dance floor

Da**, I know what's wrong with me..........I was sharing with a fellow Nana that I haven't been myself lately and I don't know why. I'm starting to annoy myself. Then, BAM!! it hit me as I was eating my 10th Healthy Choice Meal of the week............maybe it's the lack of sugar in my diet.

Whoever said "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels......never had a Mint Cookies and Cream Milkshake from Chick fil A..........YUM!!

BTW-The adult section on the navigator does have times next to it.

Sorry Kim....I'm only going to answer #3. I, like Woo had every intention of doing some exercise on the ship. I opted out for a few reasons:

1. Do you eat more than your fair share on the ship and indulge waaaay too much...yep, BUT...just in the everyday goings on, you expend so much energy doing everything you want to, I'm convinced you burn enough calories to compensate.
2. I take extra walks, take the stairs and do extra work outs before the cruise...I guess I'm just one of those people that has to seperate real life from ship life. I came to relax and enjoy and if working out is in your "enjoy" category, more power to you---my workouts are just that,...work (ask Woo how chipper I look after some of my deathmarches).
3. I can avoid Cheri almost every morning so the dangerous stares and guilt don't land on me.
4. I'm lazy as the day is long.

I'm not dissuading anyone from working out on the ship....its just not for me--its all about the fun.

I am still really nervous about the flight. I haven't talked to anyone that hasn't had a nightmare of a time flying lately. My parents were delayed 3 hours on Friday night trying to fly here from JFK. After 2 hours of sitting on the plane they made them get off and reboard another one . I am so glad I am coming in 2 days before the ship takes off. I'm not even buying park tickets until I am there..whenever that will be:sad2: Gosh...I just really hate to fly.

We are concerned too about our flights...we don't leave here until 4pm on Friday and have to make 2 stops...with the time of year I really hope we make it:scared1: We are getting in Orlando at 11:30pm...I have yet to be on a flight from here that hasn't been delayed...when we made our ressie we thought we'd be on the Wonder so we had 2 days...now we only have one day...as long as were at the Wingate by 9:30 am on Saturday for our van to pick us up I'll be okay...cranky but okay!

We noticed a few changes in the clubs...It's great having the new navigators though...is it just me or was the party the first day always called the "Sail Away Party" in the new navigator it's listed as "Adventures Away"...wonder if it's the same thing or if they made changes to it...

Cheri, I have the feeling someone may outlush:drinking1 us on this cruise...Ummm I mean you on this cruise. Since we are still at 91.5% hopeful:rotfl2:

Kim ... don't you owe me something? I keep checking my e-mail but haven't seen what you promised me ...
Yeah, I meant to tell ya'........I'm not all that reliable:confused3

Wendy-Nothing would give me greater than pleasure than to be able to outlush...I mean, have you on the cruise with us. You'll see when you meet me there's no need for jealousy. I have plenty of sarcastic comments, I mean lively conversation to spread around..............

Jaime-
When we took our Wonder cruise (Jan. 2006) we had multiple stops and then we arrived really late the night before. We then preceded to get lost so it took us a while to get to our hotel.

Alex (who was 2.5 at the time) stayed up the whole time and then of course we were so excited we didn't want to go to bed so we ordered room service so we were up until about 2 a.m. BIG MISTAKE. We should have gotten Alex right to bed because he was so off and crabby:sad2: the next day!

My priority this trip is to get both Alex and Jackson to bed in a timely fashion the night before the cruise. Of course your kids are a little older than mine! It's hard work flying with 2 little kids. This is what I will start to get nervous about in the weeks preceding the cruise.

I think they just changed the name...........it looks like they might also have done away with the Wine Package:confused3
