Party Thanksgiving night is Downtown disney......some of the Turkey day cruisers are meeting up for dinner......:drinking1

Party...what party? I am planning on being in Downtown Disney on Thanksgiving. Where is everyone meeting?

Why is there more selection at brunch? That seems weird. Hubby loves crab legs or lobster. Do they have either?

Brunch is a full buffet plus a menu with Breakfast and Lunch Items on it. When we went there they didn't have crab or lobster but there was shrimp and cavier. This site has some palo menus :
http://www.disneycruiser.info/dclindex.htm Also check the dining section on the main page of this site, there's a great video of the Palo Brunch. Don't get me wrong Dinner is amazing. Also if you eat there at night it's dark so there's not much of a view.

This is my favorite picture and is my computer wallpaper at home.

Hmm... anyone want to see my desktop Disney Wallpaper? Well, I will, as soon as I can reduce the size, currently at 1024x768. WHY?!?! Does anyone know how to lower the resolution size of a wallpaper? :confused3 I'll show you when I can!

- Josh

Josh....you can do it in any photo program you might have....just go to size

The Woo is home! No more bachin I guess.... (and she came home to a drunken mutt....it was a choice between a pitcher of margaritas and working out....the booze won) enjoy

Lots of great pictures today:thumbsup2

Josh, I'll be looking forward to seeing your wall paper.

yes your 4 year old can be in the club while your at dinner whether it is Palos or regular dinner. They will even take the kids to a kids friendly buffet for dinner if you let them know you want your child to go to dinner with them, not sure what the time was, you'd have to ask but then they just stay and play afterwards.
Our grandson opted to eat with the kids club a few times because he didnt like the long dinners every night.

Ah! I found out what was up, and got the picture to a decent, albeit smaller size. This is my wallpaper, the night time Magic:

I cant tell what port this is, but I dont really care :rotfl: . How cool are those DCL symbols on the Stacks?

Can't wait to get up at 5AM Saturday morning to see that right Bill?

Thanks Kathy. Oh, and for anyone that cares, my families room last year was on the side facing us, above the "G" in Magic. (This year is on the other side).

Woo: Welcome Home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christine: We're staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort Thursday night. I know we're going to try and have a late lunch/early dinner at Beaches N Cream but my DH and I would be up for meeting later if you guys are going to be out and about having dinner.

So, my DH just got a new job. He was a Supervisor at the Ford Plant for 13yrs and they just closed FOREVER................So, we were blessed by a pretty fast turn around and he now works for Stihl. So, instead of trucks he supervises tools. Anyhoo..........he now has to wear dress shirts and ties and such and I've been okay with all the dough we've spent lately, and quite frankly he looks handsome all dressed up, BUT when he came home the other day with his PDA/Treo to the tune of $300 AFTER REBATE:scared1: , let's just say I was less than impressed............Who needs that anyway?

Well, we're driving home tonight and I said, I wonder how many posts I'll have to catch up on tonight. Now, usually this is the point at which he just rolls his eyes:sad2: but not this time. He grins from ear to ear and says, "Well, why don't you look at them now? On my PDA!!!!!!" I'm not completely ancient when it comes to technology but this I must say was pretty cool. So now, whenever I need my DIS fix, I can just use the PDA. All for only $300...........there's always a silver lining.

Just won a Capt. Jack Sparrow costume on e-bay for DS. I mean when you're nine and you're going on a Disney Cruise that has Pirate Night, what else would you be? $11.50 including shipping. Pretty good I think...........I love me some e-bay.

As you can tell, I'm tired because I'm rambling.................Sorry, good night all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

evening all from the Mouse House. We're having a great trip in WDW. Taking it easy but doing a lot more than I thought we'd do given the weather forecasts. It actually isn't as hot as we thought it would be. Pittsburgh was wicked hot and humid for a couple of weeks and I guess we got used to it. We have found it hot but not unbearable.

Had dinner at Roy's tonight (our favorite offsite) after a morning at the MK and an afternoon at SAB. Tonight they showed High School Musical 2 on a big screen on the beach and we watched most of it down there. It was a neat setting - got to see some of the Epcot fireworks to boot.

Tomorrow we are having breakfast with Pooh and friends (at the Crystal Palace and then meeting Pat (U2Pixies) and family and spending the majority of the day at the MK.

Happy Friday to all !

Good morning everyone,

Shell,
glad you are on top of the new family information, I was hoping to get to remind you:confused3 I gotta have something to do around here.

WOO HOO WE GOT OUR SHIRTS !!!! AWESOME !!!:thumbsup2

Now I can hardly wait for the cruise to get here so I can wear it.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I am going to be brave this morning and go to the flea market, EARLY, to look for luggage and fruit at the farmers market. Then back before it gets too hot.

Not sure which day we will be going to the movies, depends on how tired I am when we get home this morning. I am still kinda off in how I am feeling.

Jeff,
glad your all having a good time. I talked to Pat and she was very excited to come and visit you guys Keep your eyes open for Dawn and her grandsons. They are visiting Mickey too.

Kathy

  Just woke up from a very scary dream!!! We got on the Magic, got to our room, and when I opened my suitcase....there were no clothes...just my folder of bills (and I don't mean the paper money kind) :scared1: Now this may not scare most of you but I am the type that has lists upon lists and check them twice!! Also didn't have the credit card to charge anything on....how the heck we got on the ship without the credit card is beyond me.:scared:

Glad I'm awake now...it was just a dream...it was just a dream...won't come true....:lmao:

IT IS COOL HERE THIS MORNING:woohoo: :woohoo: turned off the airconditioners and opened all the windows

Judy and I are on our "verandah" in MB, enjoying coffee and the beautiful beach. DD's are here and plan to romp, stomp, and SHOP a lot. The old Pavilion carnival rides have been transplanted at Broadway at the Beach near Buffet's Margaritaville. FUN....

We've eaten our way through the town, including 2 1/2 pounds of pralines. Nope, we won't fit in anything!:lmao:

So glad the hurricane is going Western, but I do feel terrible for everyone in its path. On our Western, we couldn't go to Cozumel because of storm damage. I will say, though, that we all LOVED the replacement, Costa Maya and its fishing village (read fabulous beach, bars, and massages under the palm trees!) Of course, the eastern can easily be next. Yikes!

We had LOADS of wind yesterday, but today is wonderful. Hope you all have a super weekend.

Good morning everyone...............

Shell-Hope you had a good night's rest.

Kathy-I envy you and the Flea Market. We don't have a good one, but I love the Goodwill. Hey, I'm not the only one that drops off good stuff. Especially good for pirates:rotfl:

Okie-I'm feeling you on that bad dream. Everytime we're about to embark on a trip, I dream I've missed the date.........or that the trip is over and I missed half of it:scared1: With OCD come a great deal of anxiety:rolleyes1

So big day here at the Kansco house. Jacob is at that weird age where he still love Mickey (who doesn't?) but he wants to be a surfer too. As with all things in life, I found Disney to have the answer. We ordered him the Tiki Mickey comforter set when they had their Semi-Annual Clearance Sale. So today his room gets transformed into a Mickey/Tiki Surfing Room. Off to the paint store, I'll let you know how it turns out.

By the way, we LOVE MB. Jacob likes to play Magi Quest at Broadway while we shop. Hope you're having a great time.

Shell-Hope you had a good night's rest.
mmmm ... it was absolutely dreamy! :lmao:

OKIE: Wow, what a HANDSOME young man you have! Our little Josh is certainly grown up!

Here are my pics of the day from St. Maarten ...

I loved this building on the main street. It just caught my eye

Now this may not scare most of you but I am the type that has lists upon lists and check them twice!!

She does laugh like Santa

IT IS COOL HERE THIS MORNING:woohoo: :woohoo: turned off the airconditioners and opened all the windows
Yes, it is abnormally freezing today. :cloud9: The high today is 79. Beat that Jeff!!!

Kathy, luggage at the flea market...? Never thought about that, what an excellent idea. It's cheaper and is still great.

:rotfl2: A silver lining with mouse tracks ...

How's the official cocktail coming along? Oh, and did you like the Java Juice?

For the Newbies ... here's something you probably haven't thought about. I think you'll be very suprised at some of the accents that others on the board have when we get together in a few months. For instance, there's a certain person that posts here on a regular basis, is from northern Illinois, was on the 06 cruise, and sounds something like a character from the movie Fargo :rotfl2: :duck:
