hey no secrets ..... arent we all invited? Aloha to all. It's our last full day here in Maui and we have mixed emotions. Overall we never want to leave. But the kids are missing home/friends/etc. I've had some work to do over the past couple of days so I'm already transitioning. Had a great day yesterday. The girls hit the spa. I parasailed. We had a very good dinner last night and Elizabeth and I both got tattoos (there's a sentence I never thought I'd write) -- of the Henna variety.

Yeh, I'm here too. Where is everyone...vacationing or have visitors, I think! Just went for an eye exam and $406 later with a new pair of glasses That's with a $175 discount. Ouch!

Jeff, Mina and family, I just noticed, that we will be at WDW the same time as you! We'll arrive on the 17th! We are staying at POP for 17 days! When we were in Hawaii we stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Resort, Oahu and Kaanapali Beach, Maui. Would you believe thats been 8 years ago all ready! Would like to go back but I think I would like to travel west (like motor home way) first. Boys are just about the right age to go...not to young, so will remember.

few of us from my May cruise meet thread are having a mini-meet in Vegas the weekend of 1/11/08. If I end up able to afford joining them, I might have to try to find your restaurant

I just got back home after spending the day at Silver Springs with the family today.
It was very HOT. with the humidity it must of felt like 100 there at least!!!
They loved the glass bottom boat ride the best I think.
we didnt have any lines anywhere and they saw lots of turtles, gators, gars, assorted fish and many types of cranes and birds and monkeys on all 3 boat rides. It is much more impressive when they see these animals in the wild.
Plus they saw where they filmed The Black Lagoon, Tarzan(Johnny Weismueller) movies, Sea hunt with Lloyd Bridges plus several more modern movies and an episode of the crocodile hunter with Steve Irwin.

It was a good day but a hot day!!

I was going to serve cold turkey sandwiches tonight but when Greg got home he said he would take them out to Denny's so I wouldnt have to worry about it. That sounded good to me.


Jeff, great photo. I am looking forward to seeing a lot more photos from you once you get back.

Hi, everyone!

First, let me say a big "welcome" to all the new members who have joined us since I went MIA early this summer. I've not been in front of the computer much so I haven't been around for a while. I need to spend some time going through the messages and catch up on things!

I've been busy moving into my new home office which used to be Jason's bedroom. It's Disney themed so once I get everything finished I'll post some pictures...I LOVE the way it turned out!!

About a month ago I booked our room at the Radisson for Friday night so that's set. Just yesterday I booked our flights so that's finished. Now I need to make our reservations for after the cruise since we are staying through Tuesday to go to Disney for a few days. We want to go to Mickey's Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom so that's why we are staying that long. It's going to be so much fun! I would love to stay at least another day or so but I already feel bad for pulling Jason out of school for a week and a half.

Now that the cruise is seeming like it's just around the corner, I promise to be better about popping in more often!

Well, I'm finally able to post...........I'm going to need to find a delicate way of telling my boss that he's interfering with my DIS time

So, I understand the ship will be decorated for X-Mas while we are there. Do the Personal Navigators reflects Holiday Happenings or are they the same regardless?

Also, we will be flying into WDW on Thanksgiving and staying at the CBR. We really want to stay away from any traditional holiday meal. My mother especially is looking forward to this aspect of our trip. It will be the first T-Day Dinner she hasn't cooked in THIRTY FIVE years. Will places like Beaches N Cream, etc. still be open

Although I could walk through most of WDW property blind folded, I have never been over Thanksgiving and never cruised, so be kind

i think it was you I was thinking of NOT Cheri. It was weird last night after I went to bed that popped into my mind that I had put the wrong person on my post. Guess the little voice in the back of my head knew I made a boo boo. I often need a lot of help mentally


Hi Jacob,

I am sure you will find new friends here. I think we will be getting lots of new people over the next few months as the cruise gets closer. So be sure and post just like you did at least once a week so all the new people will know you are looking for another person around your age to talk to.
Sometimes new people do not read the back posts so they may not see your post from yesterday.
I'm sorry we dont have any kids with us, but lots of other people will.

Woo was just trying to lure us away from the Hyatt on Friday night! Told her we couldn't leave you guys all alone. . .

Seriously, if the Hyatt wasn't so totally convenient (especially with young kids), we'd think about heading straight to the coast on Friday.
