Congratulations Christine..........by the way I have a long haired chihuahua named Nevada, he looks much like a pom. My husband and I had a four day weekend wedding. We had about 50 people there. They young crowd did PI on Thurs, I had a tea at GF on Friday, rehearsal dinner at Mickey's Backyard BBQ, wedding at the Pavilion and reception at Yacht Club. I'm so glad we did it that way, it cost the same and it was very intimate and everyone still tells us how much fun they had

Of course it was all down hill from there with our Disney passion
Now we've spawned a little Disney nut, he wants to be an Imagineer

Well, back to the pool and passporter..............

No worries...it's an Italian Cafe. We will have pizza, pasta with every sauce imaginable, Veal, Chicken, Eggplant and the most amazing Italian dessert imported from italy. We have enough seating for about 40 people. It won't be full table service. You will order and pay and then we will bring the food out to you. We still have a pizza place too but that's very small with only 5 booths. We are trying to sell that as we speak.

Thanks for all the support you guys, it's been a long road. Can you believe we have been working on this since February. I'm just glad it's finally here. We are having a tasting tonight, you are all welcome to join us

Kim, when we got married the pavillion was just being built so we had the ceremony in a gazebo at the Yacht Club. We spent the day with the family at the Magic Kingdom and went to PI at night. I agree with you...we spent the same amount of money but had a much better wedding than if we would have done it the traditional way.

I got my plane tickets It finally feels official The only non-stop flights are red-eyes so I also booked Pop Century for an extra night so when we get there at 6am we will be able to take a nap before we go to our Uncle's for Thanksgiving Dinner.

It sounds delicious!! Maybe next time we come to Las Vegas we can eat there. We were in LV twice last year. Once on business and once on pleasure. But we do not have any plans for the upcoming year at this point!

We were married at Valley of Fire State Park outside of Vegas. It was hot. But it was beautiful. We love the outdoors. DH is a photographer so an outdoor wedding appealed to us.

A few of us from my May cruise meet thread are having a mini-meet in Vegas the weekend of 1/11/08. If I end up able to afford joining them, I might have to try to find your restaurant!

Good morning all,

not much happening here today. I may take the kids to Silver Springs park if my back feels ok this morning. I need to move around a bit to know for sure. It doesnt open until 10 a.m. so I have lots of time.
It is nice there and not really very crowded because it is out of the main tourist area. mostly locals there.
The glass bottom boat ride is awesome for seeing all kinds of critters. Plus it costs about $20 less per person than the other parks.


well have a good "over the hump day" everyone! For us it is garbage day. I knew you would all be fascinated by that fact

We finally got our travel pack! Our T/A had dropped it off at work while we were away, so I knew it was just sitting there waiting for me to read it!! I noticed that it did state that Passports aren't required until 2008, so that takes a bit of pressure off in case things get hung up.
