Hey Kathy I heard from Marsha. Sent her back an e-mail. She was great. Told me more in one e-mail than anyone else has told me. Thanks for the sending me to her!

Hi guys - Question: How will you get from the Radisson to the Port on Saturday morning?? Are people renting cars..? Taxis..?

They have a shuttle you can sign up for to take you there. Or you can take a taxi, it is only a 4 or 5 minute drive so it wont cost much.
we drive our own car.

Dawn, I am so glad she got back to you. She is a really nice lady and I knew she would be able to help you ok.
Bill has always been full of S*** I mean stuff:rolleyes1 havnt you learned that by now:lmao:
He is our in house comedian;)

later all, Kathy

OK... I'll try to contribute by posting.

So, what's the story with the t-shirts?

I'm in the dark too ... I know nothing about these t-shirts, but seeing as how he kept bothering me when I was in the bathroom after Kathy left him in charge of the board, I'll be more than happy to do the same until we have a design .. :rolleyes1

I was thinking of getting the family matching t-shirts for the big trip... geeky.... but fun...but if you guys are thinking of doing some maybe that would solve my dilema.

Here's another question. Anyone else here a Harry Potter fan?:wizard: I am anxiously awaiting the book release on Friday. I have no idea when I'm going to have time to read it.... but I'll fit it in!!

Hey everyone I'm back. It was a crazy weekend but we are completely ready to open our restaurant...now it's just sit and wait for the Board of Health to give us an "A" and we can open on Wednesday. If they don't give us an "A" today, I think I might have to be put away :scared:

I will be in Florida on the Thursday before the cruise. We are staying at Pop Century. My husband's uncle lives in Tampa so we will spend Thanksgiving with them, go to the parks on Friday and drive to the port on Saturday morning. We have a car for the whole time (about the same price to rent it for three days as it is for the whole week plus we don't have to take a shuttle). When we get off the ship we will spend the day at the parks (since they only have non-stop red eyes to Vegas). Airfare has finally come down a little bit so it looks like I will be buying my tickets tomorrow.

Still hot here and it was humid all weekend which made it pretty much unbearable to be outside.

Jeff, glad you enjoyed your Mai Tai:drinking1

If you hear from me letter today than you know we can open if not I'll be back as soon as they let me out of the crazy house:sad:

Yes, we got matching t-shirts last year! Here's what it looked like:

Well that's fun! Did you just do a design and everyone make their own shirt or how did that work?

We all ordered from one of our cruise mates -- she took the money, got the t-shirts, and shipped them to us. But I think this year Bill said something about trying to use cafepress.com. So we'll need to figure that out pretty soon.

we had one nice, wonderful person who worked on designs and then we all said what we liked or disliked and finally came up with the final design.
Then she made the order for how many of each size we needed and mailed them out to us and we paid her for them.

She ordered extras for late posters who wanted them too.

This time Bill who is very artistic said he had some ideas for this years shirts, but he needed to fine tune them before sharing the ideas with us.
I hate to admit it but he is very artistic and quite talented when it comes to designing things. ( boy that hurt to say) he is also a sneaky photographer in his spare time. (that wasnt hard to say)

we need to order them a few weeks before we need them so time is starting to get close for us.

we all wore them to the terminal the first day so we could spot each easily and then again to the meet.
The whole ship thought we were having a big family reunion. The ladies also wore tiaras to the meet.

So come on Bill, give us a few ideas for this years shirts.

Well nanaheads, although it's been wonderful getting to know all of you, I regret to tell you I'll be cancelling this cruise. :sad1: I've cut back on my hours at work in order to focus on finishing law school quicker, so there's no way I can come up with the remaining balance I owe on the cruise and still be able to pay for my Westbound Panama Canal cruise. :sad2: And I SO DESPERATELY want that 15 day cruise to let loose and not be a mom for a bit!

You're a great bunch of bananas (and one funky monkey), so you just might see me invading your Nov. '08 group! ;)

People ... I picked our first 3 zucchinis this weekend. With ONE I made 9 loaves of zucchini bread (2 cups shredded zucchini per loaf)! I feel like I need to take suggestions from Bubba in "Forrest Gump" ... You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. There's uh, zucchini-kabobs, zucchini creole, zucchini gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple zucchini, lemon zucchini, coconut zucchini, pepper zucchini, zucchini soup, zucchini stew, zucchini salad, zucchini and potatoes, zucchini burger, zucchini sandwich. That- that's about it.

You can't be serious! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

If you really mean this, then you need to know that you are now OBLIGATED to go on the '08! NO EXCUSES! Start posting, sister! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1311313
