Christine,
The Americas cup is awesome!!!! You will really get a work out.
It is all done in the harbor near the ship, so maybe someone could get a few photos of the 2 ships while your on them. They are distanc eshots but still fun to have.
Just let us know the time and maybe someone can snap a photo for you.
That is what we did. If we're there I will try to snap a shot or two of your ships.
Once they teach you the ropes you will race the others ship around the harbor. You will lean way to one side too. They have wooden slats to put your feet again so you can hold your position.
DO use them or you'll be sorry:lmao:

You'll have a blast!!!! Even if you loose the race.

I totally know what you mean. I have been to Hawaii 4 times and love the way it smells. Plumaria is my most favorite scent of all. Where in Maui are you staying?

Christine:
We are staying at the Kea Lani for the first six nights and then the Hyatt Kaanapali (which up to this point has been our favorite) for 8 nights. We are having a family portrait taken at sunrise at the Kea Lani on one of the early days of the trip! I haven't even started planning our activities there as we want to do a mix of active and relaxing - pretty much every other day -- and we have a lot we like to do on Maui. This is our sixth trip (my 8yo's fourth time and my 3 yo's first).

Starting to get close now!

Hilton Ordered Back to Jail!

Paris Hilton was just ordered back to jail in Lynwood to serve out the remainder of her sentence! She'll get credit for 5 days already served.

Hilton left the courtoom in tears, screaming, "Mom, Mom, Mom."

One witness described the scene as: Paris was "physically escorted" out of the courtroom by a female deputy.

Sorry, just had to let y'all know ... hehehehehe

awwwwwwww......FREE PARIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait, that was WWII.....lock her up!!!!!!!

Shell,
that is old news,
look back to post 3449. I do believe it says Paris is back in jail:rolleyes1

It made me smile to see it on TV tonight when she was yelling for her mom that it wasnt fair.:goodvibes Maybe there is some justice after all.

I guess her Mom didn't think to pay off the judge too:lmao:

Kathy, I not planning on being too active on the yatch...I want one of the easy jobs:-)

JD, we have only stayed at the Sheraton Maui in Kaanapali...we love snorkeling at black rock. Have you ever toured the entire island? The first time we went we took a private car that took us all the way to Hana is was amazing. It was just us so we could go where we wanted and didn't have to wait for a tour bus full of people. Plus there is no way I would like my husband drive on some of those back roads:scared:

Christine - Yes we did the drive the Road to Hana the first time in Maui and then again with our oldest daughter when she was 2 1/2 - but that time we didn't go the whole way. It's funny what you say about driving that road. It clearly depends on what part of the country you are from. The Road to Hana is no scarier than most of the roads around western pennsylvania, but we met a couple from Chicago on our honeymoon who thought it was the scariest drive ever. :lmao: That being said, it gets to be a much scarier ride with kids screaming in the backseat, so we won't be driving to Hana this time. Maybe for a little bit of the road to the first really cool waterfall to have a picnic..but definitely not the whole drive.

Wow, no one's posted yet? I'll give Christine a reprive since it's only like 4 am in Vegas!

Hi Shell,
I'm here, just made a nice breakfast before getting on line.
I made a cheese omelete, bacon, toast and hash browns.

we decided since we cant really go anywhere today we are going to work a bit in the yard and then we have a small hole in our entryway wall that needs to be repaired. Dont know where it came from weeks ago,b ut I am tired of having a box sitting there hiding it, so Greg said he will fix it this weekend. it is an easy fix, or so he says:lmao: I have heard that before.

Going to be back into the 90's again.

Hey Josh,
I saw the shuttle launch from our family room, it was maybe 10 seconds after lift off when it showed up in our view.:woohoo:

Good morning everyone! Just got back from the Steve and Barry's where the new Sarah Jessica Parker line is...Kayla went wild and NOTHING is over $20.00. Now reconsidering the private sail since the girls want to shop in St. THomas- what are the snorkle excursions thru Disney like?

Good morning - I'll throw a post on here so Kathy will be happy! :goodvibes

My body is aching today! I played softball last night for the first time in about 8 years. It was on a co-ed team, so I had to play extra hard to keep up with the guys. I think I did OK! Out of 2 games I managed to get about 4 hits, one fly ball out, one walk and one strike out. Not too bad for not playing in so long. Now my body just needs to recuperate.

I posted a couple days ago about possibly going to the Golden Eagle Catamaran and the Screaming Eagle Jet Boat, but no one responded. :sad2: Somebody better respond to this post, or else I'm not going to post as much as Kathy wants!! :rotfl:

I should clarify my post...

No one gave me opinions for the catamaran or the jet boat. Anyone have an opinion?

danielle,
I have never done either one of those excursions, but they both sound like fun to me. Sorry I cant be of more help.

Pretty quiet around here today, I managed to get the :laundy: all caught up and now to relax for a bit, then to hang a couple of pictures we bought on mothers day.

Mickeyworld:

Our family snorkeled at Pinel Island, just off of St.Johns and loved it. They saw tons fo fish. Just walked in at the beach, no jumping off a boat into deep water which the kids preferred.

Danielle - I thought I remembered some people from the bananahead group doing the golden eagle last year - but maybe I'm thinking of something else..so perhaps they will post here. Shell&Bill - did you do that one? or was it Bob and Lisa or did i dream it. :lmao:

Yup, it was us Jeff, with Bob & Lisa and Tonya & Trey.

Danielle ... the Golden Eagle excursion on St. Maarten was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of my trip. We had the most wonderful time. They take you out to a deserted island off St. Maarten for snorkling. Was INCREDIBLY beautiful ... free drinks, awesome crew. It's killing me to not do it again this year but we really are forcing ourselves to try something new!

WHat about a snorkeling trip in St. Thomas/John.... We lovely Orient Beach(a few nudes wandering about but whatever...) in St. Martin- had a fabulous day on our own !

Judy, we didn't snorkle at St. Thomas, but friends of our did. Let me get in touch with her and see what her recommendation is (Oh TONYA ... are you out there??)
