Nope -- she's still 6! AND she knows how to protect her shows!:sad2:

OMG. She is going to be like my friend's son who at age 10 now assembles computers from spare parts. Really. We went to their house over labor day and when we walked into their family room, elizabeth said... "dad it looks like a computer lab in here" as there were seven computers in this one room. I was scared to ask what they had in other rooms.

Well birthday weekend is finally over. Elizabeth is officially nine. How did that happen? Wasn't she just six months old? Bought her a WII for her birthday. Best present I ever bought myself...uh... I mean her. :rotfl:

Good Morning everyone...nothing new here...really need to clean my house and get the summer clothes out of the closets! Went to step & tone class again last night...

I'll check back later...got to get dd's ready for swimming class.

Jeff, we got Austin one too, and we had to buy extra remotes since we all wanted to play. But I did buy Brain age Academy for the WII so mommy can get some much needed help.:lmao:

Josh,
sorry I am running late today. I have a nasty head cold and didnt fall asleep until way after midnight and then back awake since 3 a.m. and up since 5 a.m. , just didn't get to my computer until late.
I hope to nap this morning for a bit.

Both doggies are napping so now is my time to close my eyes for a few minutes. Back later to post a picture and keep up with our own reality show in this thread. I think some of these posts would make for a good show:rolleyes1

Kathy

:rotfl:

Geez Cheri how did you pass me up in number of posts? Didn't I cross the 1,000 mark about 20 posts b4 you? Geez. I need to talk with Bill about your work ethic!
:lmao:

In case you haven't noticed, they're like a fast-food meal: high on quantity and low on quality!:rotfl2:

Umm, better not say anything to Bill -- he's finally coming around about 2008.

As far as Jessalyn being technologically advanced -- it's only because she can read now and knows what each on-screen option does. (I miss the days when Bill and I could talk in front of her by spelling certain words. You know, talking about the C-R-U-I-S-E and what kind of B-A-S-K-E-T we'll order from Shirley . . .)

Kathy

Get better soon, Kathy -- and that's an order!!!!

I've been very diligent about making sure we all take our vitamins and get plenty of vitamin C. Trying to ward off colds and be sure we're all healthy when we head down to Florida.

I read somewhere about what natural cold remedies do and don't work. Vitamin C is good, but you have to be taking it BEFORE you get cold symptoms. The zinc lozenges do help shorten the length of time it takes to get over a cold. Now they say Echinacea isn't too bad after all. . .:confused3

I'm hoping I won't have to experiment with any of these. . .

Have a good day!

Ok for the important stuff, DWTS
I liked Jennie Garth and the cheetah girl chick, could live without Marie Osmond but then who can't, and that model puhleeze. Any other thoughts, Bueller, Bueller?

Poor Alec is going to be voted out first again! Why does he get these graceless people? I also liked Jennie Garth, and the cheetah chick. And actually, Mel B kinda disappointed me. I figured she'd be a lot more animated. Jane Seymour was very lovely. Can't wait for the guys tonight!!

Can you believe I FORGOT to watch it! The boys and their mother like to watch Prison Break and I'm into this gooood book so it slipped my mind. I'll have to get online and catch up for tonight.

The heat we're having wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't taken care of the air conditioners for the year.

You know that boy that I said was cute and growing up yesterday...he's up for auction this morning. :rolleyes1

Kathy, colds can be a bummer. We've been lucky since I've been diligent with the hand washing, hand sanitizer and vitamins.

Have a great day everyone!

Saw that one on the shelf. Is that something I should get? :rotfl2: But seriously is it an educational piece for WII?

oh I hear you regarding the spelling. Now Elizabeth spells things that she doesn't want Emily to know about! :rotfl: Again, how did that happen?

Two months from this moment I believe I may be getting ready for a Palo brunch. :cool1:

I think the model goes first for the women. Otherwise I'm not commited to any yet. Last time I was in love with Apollo Ono.
I'm looking forward to Wayne Newton. Doesn't he just seem like he'd be a really smooth dancer!!

Maybe Jessalyn could come over and teach me how to use my DVR? :confused3 I've been mentioning it for a while and DH surprised me with it when I got home last night!

We could have gotten it last year, but with all the extra baby expenses it seemed like just one more thing and our cable bill is high enough. ANYWAY. We were trying to figure it all out last night.

BTW. Jackson, at 15 months, has figured out how to turn his brother's little tv on and off AND unplug it. I think it's because he likes to hear Alex scream. I told Alex "stop screaming and he'll probably stop doing it!"
