HELLO FROM CORPUS CHRISTI!!!! Just wanted to stop by and see what was going on here ...

OK, so I guess we're doing tiaras for the 2:45 meet on Saturday, and I'm seeing an overwhelming YES to a ladies meet. Last year I'm pretty sure that it was on Sunday at like 1:00 at the bar by the adult pool. Does that work for everyone?

Mel-I think something VERY strange is going on because as you can see, my weight loss ticker is certainly broken:lmao:

Woo-Hi dear!!!!! How's life treating you? Haven't heard from your hubby in quite some time and he's pulled the shades down so I can't see him...........

I'm up for a meet, but there's always the possibility I might have to race toads...........:confused3

Count me in for both. Someone has just got to remind me as it gets closer. It doesn't matter how much I plan and set things up...I go on vacation and totally forget everything:confused3

I have no idea if I can make it, but I agree with Christine, let me know when it is. If all 3 of my kids cooperate I'll be there!

It works for me...I don't actually have a tiara though for the Saturday meet - maybe I need to make an investment...hmmm. Then I can wear it again for formal night. :lmao:

As this is our first DCL cruise, is there anything going on onboard (on our days at sea) that we should make it a priority to do? DH and I are thinking of getting a couples massage while at sea, but I'm nervous about reserving ahead of time lest we miss something fantastic...any tips?

Hey, for the meet and gift exchange, I know it is suppose to represent where you are from, but can someone give me some examples or ideas?

Thanks

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: The way you said that..............as though having a massage with your DH won't be fantastic.............:lmao: Oh man, I think I peed my pants!!!

Yes, invest in the tiara. DEFINITELY

Hey, for the meet and gift exchange, I know it is suppose to represent where you are from, but can someone give me some examples or ideas?

Shell gave this example once: Jeff (from Pittsburgh) brough a "Terrible Towel" which as you probably know, is associated with the Steelers.....while my DH would have love this (as a matter of fact, we own one) this did not go over quite so well with Shell...:rotfl2: Hope that helps:confused3

 I'm tellin' ya' what...........there are so many brilliant minds on this thread we could rule the world. We could just from town to town showering pixie dust and passing out tequila shots:lmao: (while wearing our tiaras of course.....)

Judy/Robin-where are you guys staying? We're flying in on T-Day and staying 2 nights at Port Orleans FQ, then staying Sat night after the cruise at The CBR...........I think Thursday we're going to brave the MK around 6 ish in hopes that those who didn't get dining in the park will head out, and stay 'til closing at 1 am:cool1: I love the MK late at night

Then, Friday we're going to do some Outlet Shopping (I know, I know.......) and then head to Epcot and stay 'til midnight. Can't decide if I want to do the CP or not. My mom uses a walker and I'm not sure she's going to want to stand in line that long.............

Kathy-give me some direction

I'm not Kathy I but I can help you out on the CP thing. If your mother has a disability card, she can sit in the handicap seating which there is usually room. Have her take a seat upfront of the line and you guys stand in line. They might depending on the cast member let you directly in to the handicap area. Dawn

Dawn,
you took the words right out of my mouth. they will make acceptions for handicap seating. they have a special line on the left (if your facing the stage) and the entire family can wait there together and be seated together too. They do get to be seated sooner and I think there are a couple of benches right there to sit on. If she cant stand, tell the CM there and ask if she can sit on a bench until time to be let in, they will help you.
another thing you can do it to rent a wheel chair for her. Epcot is a lot of walking so she will probably need one anyway, so she can sit in it while waiting in the handicap line. They have lots of wheel chair seating there, if it fills up they will let you all sit down and then wheel the chair off to the side until after the show. All wheel chair people and their families are seated first.

Christine, love the photo.
Great job with the
we are breaking last years record big time:thumbsup2

Shell maybe you could add the ladies meet to the cruise meets list so the next time it is updated it will be there to remind people too.
If we are free I will be there for a few minutes. You never know what is going on until we are on the ship, although Greg likes to snooze a bit in the afternoon which is a good time for me to slip away for a bit.:goodvibes

Another example of a gift for who ever asked, sorry I cant remember who it was, but coming from Florida I gave a Disney Christmas ornament with Mickey and Minnie on it and some chocolates shaped like alligators.

I received a Christmas Ornament shaped like Michigan I believe and some great mint candies which are made in that state . Sorry Jan, if your lurking I cant remember which state you are from. And Yes it was hanging on our tree last year.

Hope that helps you some.

Kathy

Hi all ...

Brantley, other gifts included:

1. Buckeye candies from Ohio (we gave)
2. A Florida photo album (we got)

WENDY? TONYA? CHERI? What did you bring? You know, I can never remember. I think Wendy brought dead crawfish, and Cheri brought um ... turkey something-or-other :rolleyes1 (refer to 06 board. I'll be happy to send a link to that page if I can find it :rotfl2: )

There are 1848 nanas, add that to the bill... :hippie:

That's my last post of so many bananas, don't want to get in trouble.
I'll still post    , but not 1848. I retain my title, atleast until someone else trys that stunt.

Hi Auntie Woo! (That's from Jess!! )

All sounds good -- I think our brunch (assuming we keep the reservation) is at 11:00, so I should be well primed for a beverage to be absorbed by all that food!!

If we opt not to keep the reservation, I'll just auction it off here to the highest bidder!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
