11/24/07 We are Better Than Leftovers!!! Nana Head reunion Part 2

I turned my heat on yesterday, but I was probably being kind of wimpy doing it! I go through an "adjustment period" every fall.

I know Michigan is cold, because both my parents are from there originally. My dad owns about 80 acres and 2 cabins up near Roger's City, Mi. which my family uses for hunting and he refers to as "the holy land". That's where we go some Novembers. But not this one

Great pics!!! Makes me wish I was there. How did the construction look and did you hear any rumors??? We have been thinking about DVC, but I think we will wait to see what they are actually building at the Contemporary.

This is our first cruise too...we booked it last week. Our little girl Alicia is 3 too. We are all so excited!

Is this your first cruise ever? This is our first Disney cruise and we are so excited - if you haven't cruised before, you'll love it, DCL or not!! It is great to know that other kids Lily's age are going - I think she is going to love the kid's programs. Nice to meet you!!

I couldn't get any information about what was going on where the north wing was but I did find out that The Concourse Steakhouse is NOT leaving the Contemporary but that it is just moving and cannot be called the same name because duh it won't be on the concourse. I believe they said it would be called The Waves.

Jennifer & family! I'm Cheri, my DH and DD 6 are going on our 3rd DCL cruise -- 2nd with the Nanas!! We live in northern IL, about an hour northwest of Chicago.

Hi Cheri! Nice to meet you - we actually lived just outside Chicago until we moved back to the Denver area two years ago (Chesterton, Indiana - woohoo!). Looking forward to meeting everyone in person!

Kathy, I'm glad to hear about your grandson as well...I'm glad he is doing much better.

Welcome to the bananahead cruise board. We also have a DD3. Will yours be going to the Club or to Flounders? Ours is finally ready for the club (she'll be 4 in January and is fully potty trained).

Hi!!! She will be going to the club - she is fully potty trained and we've been watching the Disney podcasts online...and Lily is super excited!!! Other than being freaked out a little by Captain Hook, she thinks the whole thing looks really fun. We actually cruised with Carnival before (our first time bringing Lily on a cruise) simply because they are the only cruise line that does programs with kids 2 1/2 years plus even if they aren't potty trained (which is great) but now that we can do any cruise line it is even better. DCL looks like it has the best kids's program - I've only cruised with HAL and Carnival before, but from what I can see and from what I've read, it just looks great. Anyway, I'm sure the kids will have a great time becoming friends at the Club!

No...that's perfectly normal. Why do you ask? Will you be bringing both on the cruise? "Pour some sugar on me" will make a lovely theme song for the first day get-together. BTW, I love mojito's but I admit I have trouble sharing them, hahaha.
