It's going to be a tough one tonight, we go up against their best pitcher. Plus, we keep getting some bad calls. I just want the team to bring it home for at least one more game. DD's school has been making some good money from using their lot to park cars for the games.

Well Fall has officially arrived in South Florida...well, OK, the AC is still turned on and I am still wearing shorts, but, went to take DS to school this morning and the temp was a very pleasant 65 or so...and the low tonight may even hit the upper 50's with the high tomorrow expected around 73...of course this wont last and it will be back above 80 in a few days.

I know! I have my windows open and my a/c set at 78 so it won't go off. Tomorrow our high is 66. But it'll be low 80's again by Halloween. I just look forward to when I can turn the a/c off for a few months and save some money.

It's 9:30am and the temp is 38. High today will be 42 with a chance of snow today and tomorrow. Our AC is off and the furnace on!!! Brrrrr.
But the forcast is for 63 on Friday. That will make it bearable for Trick or treat!

Fall is back this morning with a low in the 40's but it should warm up again for Halloween. We enjoyed one of those perfect October weekends- low's in the 50's with high's in the upper 70's! Of course it would have been a perfect weekend no matter what because our youngest, Elizabeth, turned 10 on Sunday! Loved reading the comments on HSM3- she likes that and the Jonas Brothers. Nothing like 10 girls squealing over a poster of them at her party! Of course we have the added bonus of them now living in the area so every girl her age thinks we are going to see them down at the mall!

My DS is in heaven. He loves it when it gets cold. Me - not so much. Our high for tomorrow is 70° and the low for Wed. is 51°. I don't ever remember it getting this cold this early. I'm not gonna be a happy camper the next couple days.

Someone on another thread told me you could track your documents by using your reservation number as the tracking #, but I have my doubts about that.

Its fun watching everyone talk about the weather all over the country! I spent a couple of years in Connecticut in college. I did not care for the snow then, and I'll go back so my DD can see it, but thats it!

Thanks for the heads up! You made my day. It's been crappy here at work and I was in a foul mood. All of my co-workers will thank you for making me happy!!!!!!!! (Not to mention my DH!)

Turn off the AC? we do that once or twice a year....and some years, we even have to turn on the heat (which is not fun b/c heat down here is electric), but usually not for more than a few nights...

For me, cold weather and snow have only one true purpose - skiing.
