DOCS came today!! My friend is leaving tomorrow on "our" cruise. THat's usually when we go being it's Jersey Week!! I'm so jealous!!!

Its a 60's party man! Gonna wear some groovy threads and practive peace to the world!! Tried to work in a ban the bra theme, but too many kids. I cant give up my costume, but I'll post some pictures later this weekend. Wish you all could be here!

We'll be staying home and partying with the neighbors in the street. It's going back up to 60 degrees for Trick or Treat. Balmy.
I have to go put treat bags together. I haven't carved the pumpkins yet either. I may have to leave work early tomorrow to get those done.

Judy and Ken, you guys should do a stand up comedy routine for us. You both crack me up!

Judy, sorry about your upgrade and I'm glad to hear you didn't harm your dh. You have to remember that the Y chromosome causes short term memory loss! I'd apologize to the men here, but they'll forget I said that before they finish this post.

My dog is still in the hospital. She had a good day and even ate, but 1/2 hour before dh went to get her, she started having loose stool. Not sure what is going on, but I'm starting to stress. She is only 4. On the other hand, our 15 year old Westie is enjoying the peace of not having the wild Wheaten around.

Dh is going back and forth on a possible job change, and he is stressing me out about that too. I'm so ready to sit at the bar with a nice, strong drink.

Kimberlli, we're in 2028, so we'll be pretty close. There are a bunch of us on deck 2, so apparently that will be the party deck now that it doesn't look likely for Judy to be hosting us in WED.

I was looking through my supplies today, I just wanted to let some of the last minute joiners know that I will not have enough FE stuff to go around. I did have extra but not as much as previously thought. Please just take us off your list when you deliver so that you will have plenty for the people who will be able to exchange with you. Sorry :0(

Judy, we're looking at a warm up too. We had a balmy 44 degrees and sun today, ha ha. Pretty nice after our high school soccer team lost their playoffs yesterday in 2 inches of snow.

Our second elf arrived today. We have had Piper for a couple of years but now we have a girl, Tessa, who will be joining the family. The kids have been talking about Piper a lot and dh and I keep downplaying the whole thing. They know I get sick of the elf and all his mischief. He is just one more person to clean up after. They'll be so surprised to see them show up onboard. Any of you clever people come up with any elfcapades for me yet?

Pixiedustmom, did you find someone to pick up water/booze for you? I may be able to do it. I'm planning to stop. I just need to take a look at my packing and figure out how many luggage tags I'll need, etc. and how many bags I can manage along with our car seats.

Three weeks from now sounds so good! We'll be getting ready to land in exactly three weeks from now. I can't wait, and after the week I've had, I'm pretty certain I will have a drink of the day as soon as I board. I'm kind of wondering if we should forego Wilderness Lodge and opt for the Hyatt. Sounds like the real party might be there. However, since we're on deck 2, the party should go on all week.

Jimmycinpa- I meant to tell you that on our last cruise, my sis and parents had the connecting cabins directly opposite of you (starboard) and they were great rooms! I'm sure you'll enjoy your location although you will probably be spending more time down on 2 - The Party Deck (party is in Ken and Mich's room!)

Yes ma'am, we'll be there. If you want, I think a bunch of us will be meeting on the Tomorrowland bridge around 9 to watch the fireworks.

Also, if you decide to forgo Wilderness Lodge for the wild Hyatt, drop a sheet over your balcony. I'll check for it when I walk off the tram.

I'm so darned excited about getting to stay at WL that I don't think any amount of booze or any wild party could drag me away! Maybe I'll see you on the bridge at 9. My husband and kids are really only going for the rides though, so I'm not real sure they'll be supportive of my desire to meet my DIS buddies. I will drag them to the DISmeet though. They really are good people, but they are people with their own priorities and just don't get "it" if you know what I mean. I might have to sick Judy on them at some point during the cruise. Maybe I can get her to put some fear in them at the port before we board so they know that they absolutely have to attend the DIS meet and must atleast pretend like they think it's so cool that their mom knows all of these people.

Okay I am so tired I can barely see. It has been a long day of out and about doing things then I had to come home and answer all the stuff from my virtual students since I feel bad if i do not get them an answer writing the day they ask. Plus I have been preparing to possibly need to fly to the arctic north for a family emergency. I told my parents I only do emergencies in the warm months.


Chuck, I cannot believe they do not let you surf the net while in the courtroom.

Shell, Sorry your dog was not able to come home. I am not taking you off my list. I am not going home with any stuff in my FE bag that I came with.....especially boy stuff. So you are gonna have to haul my stuff home.


For those going to MVMCP it is really started to look like Christmas in the land of the Mouse. We even had a Santa spotting today......(he was not a Mouse Santa he was a Gaylord Palms Santa, but it was still Santa).

I saw the time for the meet, but did they give you a location? We are not sure we will be able to make it at 2:30 but I have it on the list.

We got our second set of documents today so now Mom and Dad as well as the kids can cruise with Mickey. Not sure why they were separated by 2 days between deliveries!

Wishing everyone a Happy Halloween! Won't be having as much fun as Ken with his groove on but looking forward to escorting a sweet witch and a devilish 10 yr old on their annual candy gathering raid! We are expecting lots of trick or treaters! Put up the last of the decorations today and will carve pumpkins tomorrow. Nothing like putting it off to the last minute. Too busy thinking about the cruise this year!

Actually, I have surfed the net from a courtroom before, but there is a limit what I can do on the Blackberry and Disboards is tough on the Blackberry's memory.

And boy will I need the break...although we are squeezing in DVC at VB for Veteran's Day weekend, that will be a partially working trip for me. I am moving from home office into real office space this weekend with all the logistics that entails and then I have to be in Federal Court in Wilkes-Barre 2 days before we leave for the port...Problem being that Wilkes-Barre is a two plane trip from South Florida (each way).
