Anyone done the 11:15 WOC show? The late show works better for our schedule, but I am trying to figure out the details. My plan now is to head to DCA in the early afternoon to get FP's for the third show. Any experience on what time FP's for the 3rd show begin? Is there still a long line for FP in the afternoon? Is the show less crowded or more crowded at 11? What time should we show up to get a good spot?

We just got back and saw the 10:15 show.
We arrived at the FP area around 1pm and they were still giving the tickets for that show. We waited in line for around 40 minuted and we got the section "Red" which worked very well.
Alot of people dont realize that you can go to the very far right near the Zephyr and go to the lower level of the pier next to the water. It is a "Wet Zone"...there is alot of mist, but we didn't mind the kids got front row...no one to over see and loved it!!:cool1:

Our FP told us to get to the RedWood Trail area between 9-930 to begin line up, we arrived at 8:50 and the line was forming. We got let into the trails, which loop aroiund and waited there for 45 minutes...make sure you have drinks, and been to the bathroom prior!

I was told by CM that they don't always offer the show at 11:15 but we were there 5 days and ot was offered every night. When we left the 10:15 show they were shuttling us out and the new crowd in!

It is a great show, but plan on spending alot of time waiting!

I got my Blue FP for the 11:15 at about 1:45 on Saturday about two weeks ago. The line was short, maybe 2 minutes. I found it was less crowded and there seems to be less colored sections. There was no orange(?) up on the bridge rather they were letting blue people up there if they wanted, (I passed).

It is less crowded but you still have to get there early. I recommend being one of the first people in line. I think it was just pass 10 when we could start lining up.

Thanks. I will plan on checking around 1 or 1:30 then. Are you able to ask the CM what show time it is currently distributing, or do you have to get the FP to see?

I can't recall, but I think they had a sign as to what show was being distributed. I'm sure they would tell you.

The whole timing aspect is the hard part about the 11:15 show IMO. You don't really know when you have to head over for FPs. IMO the 11:15 is a great way to see it for free without having to deal with as large of a crowd. Not that there isn't one. I was actually kinda worry that at 1:45 they were going to be out of FPs. I guess I got lucky.
