We got up and took the kids to breakfast (we had brunch at 11). We headed down for the Chip-It golf tournament (for the guys). Chris won 4th place and a medal he gave to Mason. We then dropped the kids at the clubs on our way to brunch. I’ll let Theresa fill everyone in on Sawyer’s reaction. Brunch lasted from 11 until 1:20. The food was AMAZING and we missed the 2nd DIS meet as we were too busy eating. We all started with the seafood (and other stuff, but who cares) buffet, had entrees (the best beef) and dessert. It was a GREAT meal!

We left Palo (adult restaurant) stuffed to the gills and called Debbie to let her know there was NO way we could eat High Tea at 3:30. She had been sick the night before per Gregg and I think they ended up going anyways. We headed for Deck 10 and some R&R on deck. We all agreed that next time we need more of this time just sitting on deck reading and sipping drinks.

Sunday was formal night and we knew picture taking gets insane so we got ready and headed out for pictures by 5:30. These ended up being the best shots of the cruise and we’ll be using one for our Christmas card this year. We went to Lumiere’s for dinner and it was our least favorite meal of the cruise. I’m not sure if it’s because we were still stuffed and not that hungry or if we just didn’t love it. I have the shrimp medley (nothing great), the cauliflower soup (this was very good), the Herb Crusted Sea Bass (didn’t like it at all) and the apple dessert (this was good). Looking back, it wasn’t horrible; I really think it was more due to being too full from brunch.

Mason skipped dinner (he took pics with us and then ran to the club as they were going to see Finding Nemo) and Lauren left during dinner. I think Sawyer fell asleep again and we decided early dinner did nothing for us and we felt incredibly rushed. Chris talked with PJ who said he thought someone at late dinner wanted to swap and he was going to check with us. We left and enjoyed the Captain’s Reception (free drinks) a bit. This night was supposed to be the new show (Darren Romeo – magician) but they moved it due to the high seas. We skipped the show that replaced it but went to the Adult Cabaret of Michael Harrison – funny show!

Did you do any of the theme nights in Rockin' Bar D? Did you check out any of the new bar areas?

Dh and our friend stayed for one of the theme nights but ended up being too tired to stick for the whole show. Once the adult cabarets were done, I headed for bed.

Would have loved to seen the shows though; maybe next year!

Is the Pj you refer to a head server? Did he just come off the Wonder? Is he cute, from austraila or new zealand, blond very short hair? A lot of fun and very attentive?

BTW great report!!!!! :hyper:

You were on PLA rotation right?

To enjoy the evening entertainment, you really have to sleep in and let the early part of your day start slowly. Even on port days, taking a nap in the afternoon can help you get that second wind.

Great Report! I can't wait to read more. I would love it if you could confirm what nights had the "specialty" menus (i.e. Best of Master Chef, Captain Gala, Around the world, etc.) as I'm trying to figure out Palo reservations! Keep up the great work! We appreciate it so much. Oh, could you please confirm what day the Character breakfast is if you are on PLAPLAP rotation too? Thanks!:D
