10year old order from child menu

My 10 year old is a picky eater and as I look at the menus from the table service restaurants I do not see any meals that he would eat. He would, however eat the items on the children's menu. Can he order from them? We will not be on the dining plan.

There shouldn't be any problem with him ordering from the childs menu.

On 3 trips since he turned 10, DS11 almost always orders off the kids menu (unless they have filet mignon ) In June, the Chef at Brown Derby even came to our table because DS had told our waiter that they have the best hot dogs on property

A few years ago, my BIL (extreme picky eater) ordered off the kids menu the entire trip Other than probably laughing at him behind his back, there was no problem

My now 13 year old always orders off the kids menu.
Unless there is a really good burger on the adult menu!
Never been a problem at all!

Most likely, yes. But he can't pay a child's price at a buffet or all you can eat fixed menu meal.

My 17 yr old still orders from it and we've never had any problems.

The only place that has ever refused to let DD order from the kids menu is San Angel Inn- and they were very specific and up-front about it! I asked about a child's menu, they asked her age and when I said "12" they said, "She must order as an adult." Well, she did. We split some nachos, and then split!! Disney blew that one, as I was ready for a full meal (starting with nachos to share) from the adult menu and she would've eaten the kids meal as well as shared the nachos. Oh well, their loss. We won't go back.

Thx everyone, for the info. DW just brought this issue to my attention. DS is nine, so next year so he'll be considered an "adult" at theme parks worldwide.
