hiyo. on the princess spectator page, it says there are no spectator locations for the 5k or 10k. but if the course goes through the epcot resorts, surely one can view from the resorts?

not quite sure if my family wants to be out there around 6:30 to see me run by... but i'd like to know if they can. i thought i saw on another thread coach saying he'd talked to someone watching at jellyrolls.

the wording just seems like it's not possible anywhere compared to the wording from the HM:

Viewing Your Runner during the 5K and 10K

Spectators will be able to see their runner at the start line and finish line. The Finish Line is located in the Imagine Lot of Epcot. There will be no runner viewing along the course.

Viewing Your Runner during the Half Marathon

There are a number of different areas along Disney Princess Half Marathon course including the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and the Finish Line area where you can view your runner.

I suspect that if you're already staying at an Epcot area resort, certainly spectators can come down and view the 10K from some point. However, their intent is probably to discourage others from trying to travel into that area simply to spectate. If you look at the spectator resources section of the runDisney website for the full marathon, they don't mention the Epcot resorts either, but there are lots of spectators through that area during the race.

I did the Minnie 10k in jan and my mom so me from the area in between dolphin and swan, we stayed at swan. Several people were around lake area and it was great to see encouragement.

Thanks for asking this, I was wondering the same thing! My sister and I will be running the 10k during PHM weekend and will be staying at BWV with our mom. What is the closest point to BWV that a spectator can see the race from? Unfortunately my knowledge of the Boardwalk area only extends to the actual outside boardwalk itself (and jellyrolls), so if anyone could help me out, I would really appreciate it!

There were people watching from their balconies. Also people watched from ESPN, bakery, and all the way to jellyrolls

Not exactly the same course I know but the W&D half winds through the Epcot resorts before entering Epcot right in the last mile or so I think. And I remember when I ran it last year we had quiet a bit of spectator action in the Epcot resorts area. So I would think even if it is at a different time of the day that if your over at the Epcot resorts you can come down and cheer the runners on at 6-7 o'clock in the morning considering there were people out supporting us at 1-2 o'clock in the morning for the W&D. Don't know if it will be the same but I think they had the edges of the course marked by cones when we were going through the resorts. So if they want to know where to stand when runners are going by that's their best bet.
