Thanks everyone for the help. I'm going to go ahead and get it, especially since I can cancel it if I don't get many pictures. And, since hubby just called and told me he got a year-end bonus who cares about the money!! woohoo!!!

No, I'm kidding. But I CAN pay off the doggy's surgery and our trip instead of making monthly payments. So it is really good. No one else earned one, but the bosses gave him one out of their own money because they are so happy with the work he's done this year. (He was promoted and we relocated last August.) I'm so proud.

Congrats on the bonus!!

I will ask my SIL about the Lion King--last year, Hannah (age 4) got picked to participate in the show. I'll find out where they sat. She's an extremely active kid, and she LOVED the show, BTW!

Very cool about the bonus - whoohoo! Sounds like the photopass is a good way to go as long as you keep an eye out for those photographers As for me I'm bringing a whole backpack full of camera gear and plan on taking a couple 1,000 shots, but I'm a camera geek

I know... I should have waited, but I feel like there's so much to do before the trip and tomorrow! I also didn't think I'd post before the 26th, so I figured no one would notice it.

I checked the long term weather on-line just now and it's predicting 72 high and 50 low the whole trip. That would be awesome, but I'll believe it when it's closer. I do want to go buy the kids hats and gloves to pack just in case in gets really chilly. Then we'll have jackets too. Coats don't seem necessary at this point.

Yes, I've noticed that it seems to change everyday when I check it. I'm not liking those 60s and rain they are saying today. We'll see what it says on Sunday, then go from there, I guess.

SIX DAYS!!!
I never thought we would actually get this close to leaving! It's getting so exciting!
So, how was everyone's Chritsmas? We had a great time watching the kids open gift after gift. It was a fun year. My son (A) got a full Buzz Lightyear costume, a Spiderman Lego set, Flo's V8 Cafe, a bunch of clothes... My 6 yr old DD (C) got lots Disney clothes, a Littlest Pet Shop house, and a Pixel Chix. DD10 (B) got a Hot Pink Tracfone, DreamLife Superstar, and the Polly Pocket Jet. They got lots of movies, Disney Dollars, and Webkinz.
All I asked for was a gold chain to wear my beautiful diamond pendant heart on. A pulled on it when he was a baby and broke it so I've been wearing silver for 4 years. I'm so glad to have my pretty necklace back. I did get a couple of crosses (I collect them), a gorgeous picture for my dining room, and a wireless keyboard/ mouse (I guess all that DISing made my letters rub off!) Hubby also got his wedding band resized so he can wear it again. He hadn't been able to wear it for a couple of years because it hurt and it really made me sad. So, I'm happy now!

Speaking of hubby, he was really surprised about his Richard Petty Driving Experience Ride Along. He said I'm the best wife. So, sorry everyone... I am the best wife.

All of this Christmas stuff was fun, but now I have to wash 5 loads of new clothes and try and find a place for each gift to go. Christmas is very stressful for my OCD self. I hate messes. It's so stressful for me and it's really hard to just leave things. I already undecorated the tree and cleaned up the stockings today. Once hubby gets home we'll take the tree down. I purposely didn't put up a lot of decorations so that would be less hectic to clean.

So, six days will surely fly by with all the packing and cleaning I'll be doing. Not to mention the kids are starting to beg to play with their friends, so I'll need to get some playdates set up. We have Christmas dinner Saturday with DH's sister still. So, keep me entertained so time will pass more quickly... what was your favorite gift or moment?
