Thank goodness it’s a new day!

We slept a little later so we would miss the really cold hours, hopefully. It was still supposed to be quite cold, though, and I had only planned on one day of cold.

Next time we come, it’ll be in April or I’ll pack an extra suitcase of cold weather stuff and shorts, just in case! No more trying to limit the suitcases for me!
When it was time to get dressed, I decided to have the kids wear the same long sleeved shirts and jeans as the day before, but with a t-shirt over it. The layering was good, but it also hid any spills on the long sleeve shirt…
I told K that my shirt was dirty and I wasn’t going to layer a t-shirt over a sweater. He suggested buying a shirt. I felt bad about spending the money, but I wasn’t going freeze again. I knew just the shirt I wanted too- the one Mo was talking about being so soft in her trip report!
We headed over to Riverside Mill and ate some breakfast, which was pretty good other than the eggs. I liked the French toast best and so did everyone else. Then we went to the store so I could grab a shirt to wear. I found Mo’s shirt in red ($32), and went to change in the POR bathroom. K ran the bag back to the room, and was back before I realized that was where he ran off to.
We were off to a second day at MGM. We arrived at 10:30, but we didn’t worry about missing rope drop since we had already been to MGM once. K headed over to get a Fast Pass at Rockin’ Roller Coaster all alone. The kids refused to ride any rides with K, especially after that Tower of Terror thing.
The kids and walk towards the Little Mermaid’s Voyage- my favorite Princess!

While we were walking, we noticed Annie and Leo were out with only a few kids waiting. I LOVE Little Einsteins!

It’s the best show to introduce kids to classical music and good artwork. I try to get the kids to watch it every day before school, but they aren’t as interested in it as I’d like. C and A were interested in getting their picture taken with Leo and Annie, though. B, not so much, and I didn’t make her. They were our first autographs! How fun!
We walked right in to the Little Mermaid waiting area and went to see the show. Unfortunately, K was still in the FP line and couldn’t get to us before the show started. The show was just as I remember. I love the lights and the feeling that I’m under the sea with Ariel. I love the bubbles and so did the kids. It’s a great show. Not so good for pictures, but I tried.
Me in the morning...
True love...
After the show, K was waiting outside the shop for us. We were starting to get hungry, so we headed over to Rosie’s All American Café, like Buzz and Linnie told us. We ordered only three meals, since we weren’t too hungry. We got one cheeseburger, one Chicken strips, and a kids’ meal mac-n-cheese. I really don’t remember having an impression of the food other than I hated the potato salad. So, the burger must have been good. I shared that with B and we were plenty full. I took my hot tea and we went to hid a little from the cold in the shops across the street since it was too early for the Beauty and the Beast.
I was on a mission to get my MIL something. I bought a black and white checkered Mickey Mouse hand towel, and a Mickey head pancake mold to go with the Mickey whisk I had already bought her. We then went and sat in the sun at the gate to Beauty and the Beast. Thank goodness for the sun and my hot tea or I may have been a popsicle again!
