101 Ways My Son Entertained Himself at WDW--The Last Day--New 11/18

Hope K feels better. :goodvibes

Hope school gets easier and K feels better :goodvibes

Thanks! He came home about 3:45 yesterday, took Nyquil Sinus and slept until 8 when I woke him up to feed him and give him more meds. Then he took a hot bath (rough life, eh?) and went back to sleep until 6 this morning.
Now he's at work against my wishes. He'd have to be near death to stay home. :sad2: He said he thinks he'll be home about 3 to go back to bed. I hope he's serious. Nothing more annoying than a man when he's sick!

Well then don't tell her but I also think she's Plumb cute.

Hope K feels better. We keep passing stuff @ here. T (my oldest) woke up yesterday@2:30 sick and then @ 3 the phone rang. it was the transplant center with a possible kidney for my DH. It was so hard for me to leave T. Actually I had to send him to my parents so I watch them drive down the road knowing the poor thing was having to lean over a bowl. :guilty:

Here's crossing my toes (I need my fingers to type with!!) and legs for an update!:surfweb: :goodvibes

I hate the yuckies. I still feel yucky from two weekends ago.
I know how you feel. When we moved in 2006, my youngest got his first fever and was sick the day I was to go for the inspection and closing. I had to leave him at Grandma's with antibiotics. I felt horrible. Especially as a stay-at-home mom, I rarely leave my kids with anyone, even Grandmas.

I'm sure T understood that it was something really important for Daddy.
Well, what happened with the kidney? Did everything work out? What's the story?

So, FYI... things are bit crazy here. Like I said, K's sick and school's always harder for the kids second semester- no more review, lots of new concepts. They get it,though. They're smart kids. It's just a little more time and energy.

Also- on top of tomorrow being Jo's birthday  , my MIL is having surgery on a brain aneurism, and the girls and I have tix to see Hannah Montana in concert ( in the theaters). That's on top of PE for all three kids, grocery shopping and C starting her new art class tomorrow. Yikes! :scared1:
So, I'm going to try a get an update out later today, even if it's shorter. Otherwise, it may be Saturday. Thanks for your patience with me!!! :grouphug:

Very nice pics of Canada. Canada is just a nice place to walk around, especially in Florida ... ;)

:rotfl: So very true!!!!

Jo - it's your birthday tomorrow??? How old are you turning?

Where can I post your bday wishes now that your thread is closed??

I also enjoy the Flordian version of Canada much better than the real thing. Come to think of it, the Poly is actually better than Hawaii. :scratchin

Wow how did you remember that? I'll be 35!!!!!!
Yeah, the big 3-5! :lmao:

:lmao: I thought you would like that. I told the girls I was going to sing along really loudly to embarass them.

After a few songs, we wanted to get moving again since it was so cold and windy. We headed next door to England. We took the girls' picture in the phone box while the boys went to the restroom. :thumbsup2

Next we headed down the path to the little toy store on the corner. Here I bought an Epcot Passport and an Epcot countries coin collection ($10 each). I was tempted to buy each of the kids a passport, but I decided to save money and let the kids take turns putting the stickers on the countries when we study them this spring. :teacher:

Right as we were leaving, The British Invasion (Beatles group) started singing. We didn’t stop and listen, but we snapped a quick picture.

Next, we headed over the bridge to France. Here’s a picture Kirt took trying to get the bird to sit on a guy’s head. What a goofball! :sad2:

I thought this was a nice picture.

I have no idea what this is, but I thought it was a nice picture spot…

We went in to see Impressions de France. I think it was a nice show, but I don’t remember too much about it, so I guess it wasn’t great.

When we exited the show, I found a really cute kitchen tile with an easel. ($20) I absolutely love it. It’s perfect for my kitchen.

I also bought the Epcot postcard pack of postcards of all the countries. ($5) I figured those pictures are way better than anything I could take, so I bought them. B bought a make-up bag of the Monet Degas Ballerina for $5. It’s beautiful.

The CM recognized that my last name is French and told me how they say it in France. It’s so much more beautiful than we say. I would share it, but it’s very rare, so I’m not telling!

C really wanted to meet Marie, but we didn’t see her and it was getting late. We took the boat to the Showcase Plaza and stopped into one last store on the way out. A got two hot wheels type cars that looked like Buzz and Zurg ($5 each). They are really cool, and I'd love to find more for gifts.

Next we went back to Port Orleans to drop off our packages and head to DTD for dinner and shopping. :woohoo:

The next update is when everything got really bad. There were tears involved. Not gud. :sad1:

Ooh, great pictures!

We didn't even set foot in France. :( I liked Epcot better without kids... :lmao:

I hope that the DTD experience wasn't too awful!
