101 Ways My Son Entertained Himself at WDW--The Last Day--New 11/18

Maybe I should set up a diver just to get a decent table then?

Whatever you decide to write, I'll be waiting! popcorn::
I am writing a pretrip report(link in my sig) and I will see how it goes first.:goodvibes

Does having a diver sign guarantee a tank side table? That would be neat if it did! :thumbsup2
From what I read ,I wish I could remeber which report I am reading so many,it doesn't guarantee it but it gives you a better chance. If I find the report I will post about it here.

O

Sounds fancy. I'll have to check it out on All Ears Menus. Thanks for the suggestion! :upsidedow

I stayed there when it was Dixie Landings too! I didn't pay attention to how it looked though, like, 'cause I was a newly graduated senior, like. :snooty: There were boys to look at, so, like, who cares, right? .

It was small, but very pretty in the Plaza....IT had good sandwhiches!!!!

As far as your other comments.......Like Oh My God....Like, I know, Like Boys, Like are, Like Way More Interesting, than Like some Like Disney Hotel, Like Right??:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Doesn't revealing all the info (and pics) on the www make anyone else nervous? NO? Just me? Gr-eaaaaat. :sad2:
I just make sure I don't give too much away like where I live (Uk is a big place :rotfl2: ) surname etc :goodvibes

I decided that we would not go on ANY Extra Magic Hour mornings because that was when everyone would be at those parks. I already had my ADRs scheduled, so I had to play switcheroo a bit.
Phew I was getting worried there with you going to the EMH's we found the few we went to an absolute nightmare, we learnt quickly to avoid them :thumbsup2

If anyone has a suggestion for a light lunch at MK, let me knwo.
I've heard CH is really good also as I think was said by a PP it really will be a lot of food!

Plus POR looks so beautiful and quiet.
We loved POR :goodvibes

Good morning all! I have the busiest day! We need to do extra school because we'll be out of town Tuesday and Wednesday, go to Target, clean house and pack... Eeeek! My son is driving me absolutely nuts. While I snoozed yesterday DH let the kids play in the little pool in the backyard. No on thought to put sunblock on, so his back is burnt. I feel horrible and sympathetic, but he is the biggest drama maker in this house! he's screaming "Ow! Ow! ow! and crying every time you look at him. I'm sure he thinks kids with sunburns don't do schoolwork too! :sad2: It's going to be a long day...

I'd suggest a CS for your MK day lunch. We really enjoyed Pecos Bill and Columbia Harbor House for those two. If you want really light or if your kids are big eaters then Casey's.

What time is your lunch and dinner for your Epcot day though? Remember these meals are Huge and if they're too close to each other you might be too full to enjoy them. I've learned 1 table service a day or a breakfast and dinner one if anything. JMO though. Maybe you can Park hop(if you have hopping) Sunday to Epcot and do dinner there at one of those restaurants.

Otherwise everything looks lovely. Ohana's is great:cloud9: , I enjoyed Mama Melrose (but I'm a pasta junkie), I've only had lunch at LTT but if it's the same menu then that was delicious too, wasn't too impressed with Coral Reef (but I'm not a big seafood fan):confused3 .

Can't wait to hear more popcorn::

I've heard mixed reviews about Coral Reef. Is there somewhere else we should look at for TS? I don't have a hopper, so we'll have to remember that.

My friend lost her virginity in the bushes there on that trip. That's SO wrong. You know she was on 15 different security tapes that night! :sad2:
I was over the boys in our group. I was headed to college!

You're right. I went back and removed the towns we live in. Also- I need to add the kids first initial to the intro page. On my blog I call them A, B & C so I'm sure I'll end up calling them that here too.

Ack! I don't know how I'll get everything done today if I don't go now. I have over 30 messages in myy box with updates on TRs I read! I really want to get over to LtD's today too! Maybe I can work a bit, read a bit? Sounds fair to me! :thumbsup2

Just found your TR. It's great!

Good call on switching your plan to avoid EMHs.

I'm excited to read more!

Where can I whine, if not here, right? :confused3

I'm working on outifts for everyone for the trip. I had planned on just iron-on tees for everyone for each day. But then I wanted something nicer for BBB day, and that started all my problems! Too much money spent and too much stressing. I dont' sew, so I can't make cute boutique-style clothes... Ahhhhh!
The hardest part, is the weather. We can't just get cute tanks and shorts, you know? Who knows if we can where tees and capris or we'll need jackets? I'm getting overwhelmed. I should just drop it untiI gt back from Mom's, I guess. That's really the best.

Okay... that's over. I'm going to try not to think about it until this weekend. Then maybe I can lay everything out and form a plan. We like plans. Breath in, breath out.

Welcome! I'm glad you said that about the Liberty Tree. That was my latest addition. I wanted to do something my son would enjoy that wasn't princess-y!

He will have a GREAT time!!! The character interaction is exceptional. We laughed so hard, we cried! And they spend alot of time at each table. That is one highlight of our last trip that we still talk about. We are doing that dinner again this trip. The meal is excellent too! :thumbsup2

Great! I'm super excited!

Hey! We'll be at POR from the 3-10th. We picked a lot of the same places to eat. I am excited for Ohana and Le Cellier. We went to LTT last trip and it was wonderful. It was my husbands favorite meal. Good choice! Oh, and I have 3 boys, so it definitely wasn't "too Princessy!" LOL. Off to start my pre trip way early too. You've inspired me!

Welcome! Glad to see you over here! I look forward to reading your PTR!

Notice how most of this is written in PAST tense? Yep. You guessed it...
My plans have changed. I decided that we would not go on ANY Extra Magic Hour mornings because that was when everyone would be at those parks. I already had my ADRs scheduled, so I had to play switcheroo a bit.

I'm with Jo! So glad you switched your days around and are not going on EMH days!

Once our travel dates came out with the airlines, I found a special for travelling on Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday. I did some fuzzy Disney Math and found that we could fly in on Wed. night instead of Thursday afternoon and spend only $8 extra dollars. Not to mention, we get the extra meal credits and all of Thursday at MK.

Gotta love that Fuzzy Disney Math!!!

Today the 2008 packages finally came out, and I have successfully switched over to a package from a room only reservation.

Did you do the regular Dining plan or the deluxe? I'm going with my grandfather in February, and I can't decide which plan to do. He likes to eat, and we're only doing Epcot and MK, so no super-commando days. Hmmm...

Me too!

We will be getting in at 10:30 our time. I hope the kids are so excited they behave that late at night!

We went with the regular plan. $70 for each adult (including DD10) and $20 per kid (my kids barely EAT!) for 6nights? No way!
It cracked me up when you said "super comando". It reminded me of Friedns when comando means no undies! :lmao:

I know you're talking about your son, but for a minute there I thought you were talking about your husband!!!
When he's sick, my hubby is super drama guy!

We need a light meal and only have counter services left. Sandwiches sound good. I know my meals at epcot are both huge and close together (11:30 and 6, I think) but there was no other way to geet them both in. :guilty:

Those times sound a good time apart.

The DDP is now $70 for adults?! Wow they sure increased the price on that.
I went on a trip recently with a cousin who was 10y/o and he was not a big eater, but was considered adult, which I don't understand:confused3 they seriously need to change the adult age range to 12 or something. Anyhoo, we were basically wasting food with him because he just would not eat, so we asked if he could order off the kids menu and they let him. Just throwing that out there if DD10 is like my cousin.

the 70 dollars if for the DELUXE dining plan, not the regular one:thumbsup2

The deluxe plan is $70 a day for adults. We're on the regular plan. DD10 is a bigger eater than her brother and sister, but still doesn't need to eat as much as an adult. I guess I'll just ignore that while we're there. I don't want to bring up "healthy portions" on vacation. It's hard enough to do it tackfully at home. Plus, then she may say "Well, it's not a healthy portion to drink 15 Lapus" and I'll have to tell her to shut up and pass mommy the pineapple... It could get ugly. ;)
.
.
.

Of course, I'm kidding. For anyone out there that is wondering, I'm not really much of a drinker and I don't tell my DD to shut up. Not often anyway... :rotfl2: :lmao:

Oh ok, I was stressing a little there. Phew. Kids tend to remember these things at the most inopportune moments don't they. Of course you can always pull the "I'm the mommy/grown up" card ;)

I have to hand it to everyone who goes to WDW with kids. I got to play surrogate mommy for a 10y/o, 14 y/o and 15 y/o boys:scared1: on my June trip and my little goodness it's amazing I did not pull out my hair. The things these guys did and came up with. Half the trip I was in the middle of them and keeping them from each other. I got so beat up on that trip. Oh the stories I could tell....I definately needed some Lapus after that one :rotfl:
