Welcome! No pressure for a good report, right? ;)
Thanks for the compliment on my kids. They are sweeties, for sure.

BTW- I have been reading your TR. I loved it! You crack me up. Note to self: Don't go to DW with people who may be grumpy about plans I make! I swear I wanted to stomp her toe for making you sad.

Awww thanks, luckily I had others there to support me and lift my spirits and we went on to have a great time after that, even though I kept that particular person at a good arm's distance away from me.

So any new stuff update on? popcorn::

You are sarcastic and funny, what is not to love:thumbsup2 You are just like me...:rotfl:

I see Goofyluver on here, so if she is reading it, it definitely is worthy:thumbsup2

Her report is awesome as well!!!

So, what is next? Where you staying at? Details Please!!

I am also impatient, in case you couldn't tell...:lmao:

So, the beginning of every plan is deciding which park to go to each day, right? I bought every book. Seriously, I own almost every book that's widely known. Later I'll do a post about all the books I own and which one is my favorite. :thumbsup2

So, back to the PLAN. Dis'ers have to have a plan right? Well, the book I was reading suggested plans for going on the EMH mornings and which rides to hit first.

We arrive Thursday about noon, so I our plan was to hit Magic Kingdom first for the afternoon and go to 'Ohanas for dinner. I had read on-line that it was the perfect start to a vacation to go to 'Ohana on the first night, so that was it for me.

Friday was a EMH for Magic Kingdom, so I wanted to go there. My plan was to go to the BBB at Cinderella's Castle and the to breakfast at Cinderella's table. I don't know why we would need to be there early then, since we weren't riding rides, but that was the plan...

Saturday I had down as MGM day since (you guessed it!) it was EMH morning day. Sunday is Animal Kingdom day and Monday is Epcot. Tuesday I planned on leaving about 5p.m., so I hoped to go back to Epcot. Since we are homeschoolers I thought we would enjoy a few extra hours to go around to the countries in the World Showcase.

Notice how most of this is written in PAST tense? Yep. You guessed it...
My plans have changed. I decided that we would not go on ANY Extra Magic Hour mornings because that was when everyone would be at those parks. I already had my ADRs scheduled, so I had to play switcheroo a bit.

Here's the REAL plan as it stands:
Thursday- MGM with lunch at Pizza Planet (for DS) and dinner at Mama Melrose's
Friday- MK with BBB and CRT for breakfast (just the girls); dinner at 'Ohana
Saturday-MK with lunch at? (was Tony's but it's closed while we're there- any suggestions) and dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern
Sunday- AK with lunch at the Flame Tree BBQ and shopping/dinner at Downtown Disney
Monday-Epcot with lunch at Coral Reef and dinner at Le Cellier
Tuesday- No plan yet. We have park tickets for this day, but I'm thinking we may end up shopping and getting a good lunch before we go home.

So there it is- 3 character meals (2 for the boys- who weren't intersted in going to Cindy's), a meal at the Coral Reef since we're studying sea animals this year in Science, and a meal at Le Cellier for my man.
It's looking good, no?

If anyone has a suggestion for a light lunch at MK, let me knwo. I need to figure something out now that Tony's will be closed. Now, Big Brother's on, so I'm outtie! :hippie:

Up next: Books I own about Disney! I think it's 5-6, but who's counting?!

Yes, Goofylover is a fun gal. Sarcastic, me? :rotfl2:

I just posted. I should have posted my hotel and stuff, huh?

I'm glad you had your cousing and friends there to get you to your happy place. There definantly shouldn't be tears at Disney! I'm a little worried about tears on our trip! Yikes! :scared1: .

Being that we are a family of five, we are somewhat limited on where we can stay. I had planned to stay at a value resort, because I don't really care where we sleep. As long as there's no uninvited guests, I'm good.
Once I started pricing value seasons, I realized we could stay for less at Port Orleans Riverside for less than a family suite at the All Star Music Resort. So that was an easy decision, right. I'm a thrifty girl. I like to spend money, but I like to save it more! PLus POR looks so beautiful and quiet.

January ended up being our month to go to WDW because hubby gets a bonus the last week of the year, and that week was the earliest I could be sure we'd be in the value season. Unfortunantly, it looks like hubby's NOT getting a bonus this year but we're still saving so we can pay cash for the trip.

Once our travel dates came out with the airlines, I found a special for travelling on Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday. I did some fuzzy Disney Math and found that we could fly in on Wed. night instead of Thursday afternoon and spend only $8 extra dollars. Not to mention, we get the extra meal credits and all of Thursday at MK.

Today the 2008 packages finally came out, and I have successfully switched over to a package from a room only reservation. I was the first one this morning (before coffee, mind you!) who posted on two different boards that the system upgrade was ready. Superstar!!! :wizard: You guys can start requesting autographs now...

Okay- Now I'm really going to watch Big Brother. Thank you Jesus for Tivo! :3dglasses

Welcome! I'm thinking about how to write all this planning stuff down. Maybe I should go next with where we're staying and where we're eating?
Doesn't revealing all the info (and pics) on the www make anyone else nervous? NO? Just me? Gr-eaaaaat. :sad2:
I'll post more tomorrow while the kids are doing school. :upsidedow

I was leary about posting pics too, so you are not alone:goodvibes

Never too early! We have a trip in January too, (16-22) and I'm anxious to start a pretrippie, but I will not start until I finish my June trippie. (I will not start. I will not start.)
Your family is beautiful! Looking forward to more!

I have been online figuring out our March package most of the day! I have too many options to choose from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What to do...what to do...:rolleyes1

I'd suggest a CS for your MK day lunch. We really enjoyed Pecos Bill and Columbia Harbor House for those two. If you want really light or if your kids are big eaters then Casey's.

What time is your lunch and dinner for your Epcot day though? Remember these meals are Huge and if they're too close to each other you might be too full to enjoy them. I've learned 1 table service a day or a breakfast and dinner one if anything. JMO though. Maybe you can Park hop(if you have hopping) Sunday to Epcot and do dinner there at one of those restaurants.

Otherwise everything looks lovely. Ohana's is great:cloud9: , I enjoyed Mama Melrose (but I'm a pasta junkie), I've only had lunch at LTT but if it's the same menu then that was delicious too, wasn't too impressed with Coral Reef (but I'm not a big seafood fan):confused3 .

Can't wait to hear more popcorn::

Great Plans!!

I would suggest The Plaza for a great light lunch at MK... Very pretty, simple food and easy to get into:thumbsup2

Port Orleans Riverside is beautiful. My hubby and I stayed there in 98, when it was still known as Dixie Landings!!

Congrats on being a Superstar:wizard:

One thing to remember is that Easter is 3/23 this year. What a weird day to be, right? That's my bday and I just don't like sharing it with some bunny. Hmfff! Sharing it with Jesus is cool though. :cutie:

I was leary about posting pics too, so you are not alone:goodvibes
I'm so super protective, much less on-line. I don't tell our names or post pics of the kids on my blog, so this is a little uncomfortable. But what's a TR without pics, right? Im glad I'm not the only one. :)

Yo go girl:banana:
I will go, girl! :woohoo:

That's a good goal. It might muddle things in your mind. Well, it would for me anyway!

Great Plans!!

Sounds fancy. I'll have to check it out on All Ears Menus. Thanks for the suggestion! :upsidedow

I stayed there when it was Dixie Landings too! I didn't pay attention to how it looked though, like, 'cause I was a newly graduated senior, like. :snooty: There were boys to look at, so, like, who cares, right? .

You have a some great meals planned.:thumbsup2 I am looking forward to trying Coral Reef(in less than a month! ) .

The pics from Port Orleans do look soo beautiful.:goodvibes

You'll have to let me know if it was worth it and if it's yummy. Hmmmm, I wonder if it's weird to each fish while you sit by the tank? I know I read something about signs for divers in the tank. Can I call and ask to be by a tank, do you think?

I know you can set up a diver if you call and even a personalized menu. You have to request the table when you get there. If you have the diver then you have a good chance at sitting closer. It is free now but they are talking about charging for the service in the future.See I am learning something from reading all these reports.:surfweb:

And I don't eat fish so I should be okay.:goodvibes I don't know if I will do a trip report when I get back(I have had a hard enough time with my pre-trip one) but I will definitely do something about the dining. Those reports have helped me alot with my ADRs.

Maybe I should set up a diver just to get a decent table then?

Whatever you decide to write, I'll be waiting! popcorn::
