I'm planning to use a 3 day california resident ticket to do the 100th anniversary things so I was hoping someone may have some answers to the following:
  • Are they still doing the 100th anniversary cavalcade now that Magic Happens is back? I don't see it in the app or website schedule and would like to know the time of it if it's still happening.
  • How often are Mickey and other characters coming out with the band on Main Street these days? Is it usually just the march down Main Street around 12:30 or will one of both of them come out at other times the band is scheduled?
  • Any other places where characters come out in their 100th anniversary outfits?
  • What have been your favorite new foods?
Unrelated to the 100th anniversary but how often (and at what times if you know) does Nick Fury do his show? It's another one that doesn't seem to be in the schedule.

You need to ask the CMs over in AC about Nick Fury. The presentation only lasts about 15 minutes and is over by the big Jeep between HQ and the Sanctum. There is a little stage setup there. I did manage to catch it twice, and I think generally is more toward late afternoon and early evening. No meet and greet.

Hope this helps... Nick does a great job, very spot on.

The characters are out most of the day, but they do rotate and take breaks. You'll find them in their 100 attire in various spots around the flag pole - in front of the Mad Hatter, in front of Mr. Lincoln, next to Disney Showcase store, in front of the Railroad, etc. Before the parade, they often walk down Main Street and greet or high five people waiting along the parade route.

Last Saturday characters + band + Dapper Dans marched down Main Street at 11:45 and set up in front of the train station to perform a couple of songs.

The characters in their 100 outfit are usually found at townsquare… and rotate throughout the day. My favorite spot to hang out and wait for them is close to door where they appear/exit (next to the big doors for the parade). There you can usually make nice photos (just the characters) without other guests in it when they enter or exit and make a final goodbye wave.
