We have 3 nights to spend the night at either one of these. We have 2 adults and one 19 month old. We have stayed at Dixie Landings/Port Orleans or else we would consider that also.

100 a night for Coronado Springs pool/water view or 84 a night for Caribbean Beach Resort (standard room) Nov 27-30th. In the 3 days we will staying we plan on visiting MK, Epcot, MGM and AK.

I like the idea of the newer room at CS, not sure when CBR was last renovated, but the atmosphere of CBR sounds good also.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Which would you choose and why?

Thanks!
Jenn

I would pick CBR. I have stayed at both, just back a month from CBR. This resort was recently renovated within the last 2 years. Everything looked nice, the grounds, the rooms and the main areas. It was quiet and peaceful there. We enjoyed going to the quiet pool over the main pool. The room itself was clean, comfortable and quiet. With a 19 month old you now can get a refrig for no charge which I'm sure would come in handy. The different section were colorful and pretty. Hope this is of some help in your decision. CS is also a nice resort which is a mexican theme. You really can't go wrong with either. The money you save can pay for one of your meals per day if you decide of CBR. Hope this is of some help. Good Luck!!!

CBR was renovated and reopened Jan. 2003. CBR has many lovely views and I don't think you do as much walking at CBR as you do at CSR.

CBR has the main pool and food court in the same area where at CSR they are apart from each other.

I used to think having a water view/pool view was a good idea until I stayed at CSR and had one. The noise after midnight was terrible as the families were playing in the pool.

My vote is for CBR!!!! CBR has the largest rooms of all the moderates and is truly one of the most beautiful resorts. CSR is alright - it just doesn't have that "Disney Magic" to me.

I prefer CSR to CBR, but I don't know if I would pay more for a waterview. Since you don't have a balcony and the only way to see the "view" you are paying for is to keep your blinds open and look out past the outdoor hallway, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I'd try for a standard rate at CSR (you never know, room inventory seems to change all the time).

I loved CSR when were there in August... felt pretty "Magical" to me!!

I would choose CSR too. But I think either one you will be happy with.
Think about how much will you be at the resort and if the pool area is something you will be using, etc.
We really like the Pepper Market too. But there are just as many who don't as those who do.
It really just depends on your tastes and needs.
Which theming do you like best? Go with that. :)

Called back this morning and tentatively have ressies for CBR since it was cheaper, but am going to call back later next week because if CS if 84 an night then I think I would prefer that. I guess we will have to make plans for another visit because I want to visit all the resorts!!!

Thanks,
Jenn
