10 years of kisses and love....our 10 year anniversary at WDW/DCL! pre-trippie!

Well, I thought I'd get started on it. It's our big one: Kenny and I have been together for 10 years this month and married for four June 17.

So, what better way to celebrate than with a trip to WDW/DCL!

First things first. Introduce the crew. There's me, 33, professional travel writer and major foodie. I travel solo to WDW/D-Land often for travel writing assignments throughout the year. I also love music, espiecially Nickelback. I also love the Food Network and of course, Travel Channel.

My hubby, Kenny is 34 this year and works in a kitchen by day and a supervisor at Wally World by night. I pulled in all kinds of assignments to get this one for us since he works so hard. He is a real sweetie. He is a gamer and he and I both are movie buffs. His only real fault? He doesn't like Disney nearly as much as I do. So, we're going to Universal for a day to see Harry Potter for him! Oh, and he loooves Family Guy. LOL.

Anyhoo, we are thinking of going Nov. 2-7 to WDW and staying at Riverside (where we stayed on our honeymoon) or maybe CBR or CSR. We are also going on the cruise Nov. 7-11. Hoping we'll bring back a souvenir....*crosses fingers.*

Ok. So, we're booked Oct. 26-31 at POR (Ken's choice) and we're going to do the cruise Oct. 31-Nov. 4, cat. 11. 'Big Man' that's what I call him (he's 6' and just a big guy.) doesn't get to go with me much on my work trips, but he agreed this time to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. Espiecially when I said we could get DCL at a good price.

Here is our tentative itenerary:

Oct. 27—Akershus—8:25 a.m.
Le Cellier—1:10 p.m.
Cali Grill—9:05 p.m. (Wishes!)

Oct. 28—Crystal Palace 9:25 a.m.

Sci Fi 6 p.m. (Fantasmic!)

Oct. 29—Kona Café 9 a.m.
WWOHP
Tony’s 8 p.m. MNSSHP

Oct. 30—Boma 8:20 a.m.
Les Chefs de France 8:30 p.m. Illuminations

Oct. 31—The Wave 9:10 a.m.
And then…………………………………………

DCL!!!!

I just started my PTR for around the same dates this morning too!

We ate at Akershus, Sci-Fi, CP, and Chefs on our last trip. FANTASTIC choices!!!

Update:

Very shortly, I will be booking our cruise!



I checked out the cabins and asked Kenny which one he wanted. He said he didn't care, as long as it was on dcl.

I picked an inside cabin, cat. 11, hopefully deck 6 or 7 on Oct. 31-Nov. 4.

Kenny is happy. He gets to go to Castaway Cay. I get the spa and good restaurants. It's promising to be a great trip!

This summer, I will be taking Lupron shots which bring on menopause. It's to get rid of my fibroids. Once that's done, I should feel a lot better. Kenny and I would like to be able to ttc soon if we're able to. If not, we'll go from there.

So, that's what I've got right now. I'm getting the tiks for the MNSSHP within the next week. Trying to talk Kenny into wearing a costume. If it was up to him, he'd wear a shirt that says, "This is my costume."

Sorry I haven't been back. My computer died on me. (I'm on Kenny's.) Sooo busy!

I've requested a quote for the cruise. Got a great price too! I will be booking very soon. We're going to be doing a cat. 11 probably. Sooo excited!

Oh, and we may get to go to Vegas beforehand for a photo assignment!!!!! I'm looking at Paris Las Vegas.

It's turning out to be a great trip!

I'm finally booking the cruise! Decided not to do Vegas till later. Oh, guess what? We're engaged again! Kenny proposed to me and we're going to have a vow renewal next summer!

Sorry I haven't been around a while...been having exams for *girl* issues and blood tests. Yick! I'm starting treatment for the infertility/fibroids now to get it over and done with....and if I have to do Lupron, they have a payment plan!!!! Yay!

Anyhoo, we changed our resort from POR to CBR. Save some $$ on the room. Plus, it's near EPCOT!!!!!

Cruise is booked and I'm going to finish paying it off in the next week and a half. We're doing a cat. 11. deck 6. Oct. 31-Nov. 4 after our stay at CBR. I will be done with school for the year too! So, free and clear for fun!

Woo-hoo! I have dropped down to a size 18!!!!! Soooo excited! The diet's working! I'm wearing my skinny jeans again!!!

I downgraded our dining to basic dining instead of deluxe. I need to watch my diet and deluxe is too much temptation.

We;re going to be doing MNSSHP on the 26th, same as you HeatherBelle! I am going to dress up as Snow White or Alice. Ariel would make more sense cause I have real red hair now. LOL. I am not skinny enough to wear her costume though!
